Would like to keep both of these players as i think they have something to offer attacking wise. However, if it IS Freeman plus one other you'd have to assume it'd be more likely to be say Freeman + Bryan or Moore plus £4M surely?!

I can see us switching to 4-3-3 more often next season during games if teams try to match us up or sit deep, or plan A isn't working.

eg1. against Newcastle, they sat deep and we couldn't break them down. We were also very vulnerable to the long balls to their pacy strikers. Egan only looks uncomfortable when left isolated in a foot race.

eg2. against Liverpool away, Robertson and TAA played high and pinned back our wingbacks. Also, their front three occupied our back three so none of the defenders got forward with any regularity. If you pen in our defence, we look devoid of attacking threat and the attack often looks isolated from midfield.

4-3-3 could also see us play C Robinson in his preferred position

Hardly a surprise if a squad players loses a first team number though it doesn’t automatically mean he’s leaving. He’s not earned that number for this season but I hope he stays and makes sure the number 7 or 11 is his.

Yep, looks like a player who’s played every minute of last season and played well in the main will be replaced by a kid from the Championship.

It’s not going to happen is it? It’s about competition for places and being able to rotate better than we have been. Baldock will definitely start if fit but if cash comes he’ll have a fight on his hands and most certainly won’t play every minute next season.
