Hadn't heard that. Bit of a shame, as I was keen to see him play for more than 30mins. I could see Verrips and Moore both going and Eastman as the other keeper in the squad. Injured for the start of the season, but should be back a month or so in. Would make Jag's one year contract offer more pressing!
 
Think we’ll go with
1. Ramsdale
2. Verrips
3. Foderingham

Eastwood head back out on loan when fit. Moore would be a food fit for Rotherham
 
Foderingham will be 2nd choice, if verrips couldn't get in front of Moore he won't get in front of foderingham. Plus he won't go from 2nd choice at rangers to 3rd here, we could/should loan/sell verrips.

In Wilder's Ramsdale interview he says

"We've got Wes, he'll be pushing Aaron, and we've also got Michael and Simon."

So if you take that as it is, Moore is not fancied.

If someone will take him off us, we'd happily let him go I reckon. He should want to go to if he's got owt about him, he's not played regular football since League One.
 
I am surprised Moore is still here, he has barely played since we got promoted from League 1.

Blackman and Henderson were keeping him out of the team.
 

I like Moore done everything asked of him not kicked off but clearly no future here. One of the bigger teams in league 1 should come in for him, that was a good level for him to shine.

Well he's going to have to soon or he's going to waste his career and that is unforgivable for a footballer.
 
Goalkeeper is an odd squad position. You really want 3 in your 25, but barring an injury a solid #1 should play all but some micky mouse cup games. That leaves little for the second choice and probably nothing for the third choice.

Wes looks like an upgrade on second choice. Moore has been a fantastic clubman for us and I hope he gets a good move. Verrips must be getting bored sitting on those massive hands, so could see a loan - not sure if we'd want to lose him just yet as he sounded really promising.

That leaves Eastman who could play with the U23s but also be around the first team as third choice and long term competition with Rammers. Just a thought - probably won't turn out like this.

I think it’s fair to say that Eastwood as a number three (with Moore leaving and Verrips out on loan) wasn’t Wilder’s plan A. As Eastwood was supposed to be at Kilmarnock for the season for 6 months before he picked up a nasty injury that’ll put him out of action for a fair bit.

Foderingham is a huge improvement as a number 2 I'd say in that there's more of a chance he will actually push Ramsdale.

Moore is a nice bloke/ kit model but is a couple of levels above where he'd be a nailed on number 1. There was never any chance he was getting in the team without injuries/loan stipulations.

I'm surprised we didn't sell Eastwood to be honest, as he's actually older than Henderson and Ramsdale, and doesn't seem that near our first XI, think he's played for us once in the league, against Wolves when Moore got sent off in 17/18, maybe an appearance in the early rounds of the league cup too.

I think if all goes to plan, it'd be Ramsdale number 1, Foderingham number 2 and then Dewhurst coming through to overtake Wes and challenge Ramsdale. Ramsdale and Dewhurst should be our future keepers for a good while, Dewhurst is highly rated and is on the same path as Henderson and Ramsdale with England etc.

Verrips is an unknown, his career elsewhere suggests he's decent but he needs to go out and play some English football so we can have a look up close. Would've been nice if Kean Bryan's big fat arse didn't give the poor sod concussion in his only Blades appearance.

On the main board someone said he'd put a picture on his instagram with a caption saying "new home" which he then removed.
CW said at the end of the season we were making a couple of changes with the goalkeepers.
