Tom Heffernan looking like Bungle running the full length of the pitch to jump on Kevin Arnott after his last minute winner against Southend in 92.

The final whistle against Ipswich (at Portman Road) after the 120-odd nerver wracking minutes of the play off semi final in 97.

David Holdsworth's late equaliser in the against Coventry at the lane (FA Cup Quarter Final, 1998)

Probably a close 2nd but I think my favourite is Peschisolido's goal v Forest in Play Offs.

3rd place probably goes to Des Walker's own goal in said game. In fact, that's number 1 !!

remember that one well...what a goal that was.

MY Fave....Asaba last minute winner at West Brom when down to 10 men. Our lass Xmas shopping at Merry Hill so I had the 3 kids(10,7 and 5 at the time)...Pesky hits bar from what seeemd to be a 40 yard chip,Asaba scores with diving header from the rebound, fans go barmy,I end up hugging and dancing with a bloke a few seats from me who I'd never met before and was susequently joined by a couple of other Blades I'd never seen before. After the celebrations I turned to see the kids looking at me in a strange sort of way.:-)...I just smiled and started singing 'Jingle Bells,Jingle Bells....' with the rest of the away end.

The Forest play off game, specifically, Peschisolido's goal. Still gives me goosebumps now when I watch the highlights of that match.

Love it!!

Blackwell driving out of Bramall Lane car park after QPR game.

You are honestly telling us that your greatest memory as a Blade isn't a fantastic goal, a great win or a promotion, its a manager getting sacked???????

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!

That was my wife's birthday, and she very magnanimously agreed to come along to the match. My absolute favourite of her birthdays, I doubt it will be bettered.

Finding a briefcase on Shoreham Street with documents inside marked 'TOP SECRET - BRAMALL LANE FREEHOLD - EYES ONLY!

i need to keep this one on cut and paste but i'll repeat it
easter around 1974.. ish.. lol.. steve cammack 30 yard screamer through the firework mist vs weeds hence drawing (yes drawing!) the game 1-1.. they scored after about 5 mins and bremner et al were time wasting from that point onward for the whole game.. what a sickener.. everyone went absolutely mental
i may be wrong but i think they lost the title eventually because of that draw .. heh..

Favorite - first goal in the 3-1 win at the sty in 1992.

Very close - the couple of minutes between the ball being cleared to Jags and Nuddy scoring the second against Leeds in the League Cup in 2002. At that time trips to the Lane or away games had just become an excuse to meet up with old mates - the football was secondary. The atmosphere at the ground that night was a bit different (certainly not one for the faint hearted if you were in H-block) and it seemed to transfer to the players. I'd just taken a drag on a cigarette as the ball came to Jags, I nearly choked to death celebrating and had only just got my breath back as the ball broke again for Chief to get it stuck under his feet and then Nuddy to slot it home. Suddenly watching United became more than an afternoon out again.

I was on holiday in St Lucia when we played forest in the playoffs so that is my favourite game i watched on the box. As for in the stands Leeds and Liverpool in the league cup are equal for me both great nights. In fact all the games that stick in my memory are night matches.

There have been better nights, but for some reason the one that pops up first when I'm asked things like this is Whitehouse's screamer Vs West Ham. That made it 1-2, we went on to win 3-2 (Gayle and Rodgers got the others). It was my first night match, which is probably why it has stuck so well.

Joint second are Holdsworth's and Jags late cup equalisers.

Peschy's goal against Forest for me as well...specifically watching him go mad in celebration and the guy next to me shouting "We've done it, we've done it" over and over.

Aside from that Jags goal against Leeds in the league cup and beating Spurs 6-0 with my dad warning me 'They don't play like this every week.'
