Hawkeye Decision at Villa Park

This might seem controversial to some but I never blamed the Tevez situation on our demise. We had 38 games to stay up and we failed. We had the easiest run in playing Charlton, Watford, Villa, West Ham and Wigan near the end of the season, all of whom were in the relegation fight with us. We only beat West Ham and Watford. We deserved to go down, especially due to Warnock's defeatist negative away tactics.

Bournemouth had 38 game to stay up. They haven't been good enough overall and a result at another match not involving them shouldn't define their season.

I like Bournemouth, I like Eddie Howe and I despise Villa. But they've deserved to go down, much like we did. Sorry.

A draw was the worst possible outcome. A shammers win meant Villa would go down and deservedly so. A Villa win meant they’d stay up and deservedly so. They’ve stayed up because a total fuck up that could’ve been easily fixed at the time. They absolutely do not deserve to stay up and Bournemouth have been cheated out of a stay in the dirty, corrupt Premier League. Villa fans will be loving it. Hate this fucking league.

No and no.
Edit: It's been repeatedly explained why these decisions make a difference and that you are still denying it you'll never change your mind now.

Down by 1 point...do they, can they or will they sue after the screw up with VAR. Thoughts?

We will never know what would had transpired at Villa Park if the goal had been given. However, the facts are that villa gained a point from a game in which they should have been 1 nil down. It certainly raises questions and is exactly what hawkeye and the Premier league wouldn't want.

Good news for us. Villa will be shit again next season. Bournemouth with their squad could have potentially done a lot better next season.

Plus we can go after Ramsdale now

Villa will be better if they sack Smith though

Means nothing to us but if Villa now start signing players prior to any lawsuit it will be a lose lose for PGMOL/Hawkeye

Don’t forget Ben foster said it was not in how things come back to bite you

I'll be interested in what Villa do spend. Give what they spent this summer and last summer I'll be amazed if they meet FFP standards. Surely an embargo is forthcoming unless this can be offset by selling Grealish?

I’m not sure you understand how football leagues work.

What you deserve isn’t based purely on your own performance. You could win the title with 70 points or get relegated with 50. It comes down to how you performed relative to everyone else, and if one of those cheated, or were awarded a point erroneously, then it isn’t a fair competition.

Tell you what, if there was one team I would count on for being litigious, it'd be Bournemouth.

All of their income basically comes from the Prem, they're in the shit now. Can almost guarantee they're going to be lawyering up, and if they don't get the point knocked off, they're going to bankrupt Hawkeye.

I would be very surprised if Bournemouth don’t seek some sort of legal redress. The financial consequences are huge and without the Hawkeye fuck up, they are still a Premier League side.

VAR and Hawkeye have without recourse, decided numerous results this season. It’s only right then, when they have failed to address a clear and obvious mistake, that results in relegation of the wrong club, that they are held to account.

I notice that no one on Sky has mentioned the perfect storm that was Bournemouth bettering Villas GD, but still going down thanks purely to their gifted point.

Let’s not pretend they don’t know, obviously been told not to mention it.
