Robinson £6m
McBurnie £17m
Moose £9m
Freeman £5m
Berge £20m
Osborn £3m

Total £60m

I can see 4 of those moving on in the next window. Wilder has not done great with the money forwarded to him and I would argue none of them are any better than we already had. Wilder has done miracles with the squad he built up from L1 but these signings have not taken us any further forward.

Which of those players would you say have depreciated in value?

McBurnie, Berge and Osborn were signed with the future in mind as well as this season
Freeman is slightly puzzling, but offers something different
Moose doesn't seem to have the workrate required, has constant niggles and can;t play 90 minutes
Robinson was an odd signing really which hasn't worked out. He's more of a winger.

Which 4? I can see 1. Maybe 2.

Robinson - will sell for a good profit in summer
McBurnie - was coming good and then Covid happened
Moose - great
Freeman - fine when he gets a game, could leave because he hardly ever does
Berge - shown a few good things, hard to knock off the ball and can pass, but is playing out of position
Osborn - Good signing

So that's two that might go for me.

I'm not talking about value i'm talking about taking us forward.

Berge will not recoup the fee we paid based on his SUFC performances

Robinson will go for less

Freeman will go for less

McBurnie will really go for less

Moose probably holds

Osborn hard to say

No way will Robinson go for less than what we paid. You mean Callum right?

No you said can see 4 of those moving on in the next window. Which 4

Apparently the transfer budget for next season will be lower than this.

So you want to get rid of 4 players, for less than what was paid, and then replace them with cheaper players?

Yes I did

Robinson
Freeman
Moose (Wilder clearly doens't rate him)
And I hope McBurnie (although Wilder does seem to like him for some reason)

Strikers are key for next season, the ones we have aren't good enough.

Genuinely concerned that all of the lads on this list will end up leaving the club whenever that might happen and never really leave any serious positive mark on the club before they go.

Wilder has worked miracles when working on Championship or below budgets and acquired us some unbelievable buys. As good as at any time I can ever recall. A grade no question.

But the PL recruitment. while accepting it is still early days, couldn’t possible grade out better than a D as it stands 😞.

Top of my head you‘ve omitted Jagielka, Rodwell and Morrison.

If the budget is less than last season then it makes sense to raise cash from players that probably won't play doen't it?

There's no way McBurnie is leaving. Moose too. Robinson will, maybe Freeman

I would say Moose is in the frame too. Wilder gets him ready to come on as a sub a few times then he sits him down. Today he brought on a loanee that never made the sqaud before. There are issues between manager and player IMO.

Or he thought "what's the point, we've fucked it, may aswell save him for Old Trafford".

Which means peanuts for them.

What about selling Berge on for what was paid?

How do you know we will get what we paid? Also too early to write him off. The fringe players will generate wage space.

Maybe? Why has he got him stood on the side ready to come on and then for no reason sat him back down? This has happened twice to my knowledge?

Something is not right.

Moussett and Mcburnie are only 24- moose has shown he is worth the £9m we paid for him, and anyone who scores 20+ goals in championship goes for £20m these days.

£5m for Luke Freeman one of the best players in the championship is a bargain.

Osborn has looked decent cover for £3m every time I’ve seen him.

Callum Robinson just doesn’t fit our style of play he’s a winger/CAM.

Sander Berge is only 22! There was a reason he was so highly rated, give the lad time.

Moose only one what looks quality so far but can't really judge Freeman as wilder has hardly played him and neither has berge

7th in the Premiership... rocksafe... ahead of Spurs and Arsenal... I think we’d all have taken that. Look at Villa and Norwich... OK we’ve struggled to pick up the pace and sharpness .... other teams seem to have hit the ground running better than us... maybe we’ve undertrained during the break ... maybe we’ve overtrained and caused tired legs and tired minds ... the new signings need a sensible and full preseason to integrate in our squad. Glass half full here.
