Kozzy ffs, another injury?

Nossy supposedly injured and that makes sense cos he's not there today.

No monty?

Injury curse just wont piss off will it?

Bodnar has a 12-month suspended sentence hanging over him for running down and killing a cyclist......................

August 2009 though. Unless that was the date of the "incident" and his sentence was at a later date.

If he's 31 them so am I. I thought it was Chingo playing - and that's from row 2 on John St.

Would we not look a tad hypocritical though after sacking Jordan Robertson?

Slightly off-topic, but I hear Jordan has been training with the porkers on day release.

I thought he played very well - looked like a seasoned professional and organised the others a couple of times.

Thought he looked great.
Now off to watch us win some athletic golds.

It won't until we sort the backroom staff out IMO. Ever since we cut the medical staff down before last season we seem to have picked up plenty of these injuries...

I thought he looked ok today, think he'd settle down after a few games. I think it's always difficult to look good as a triallist.

He was getting a bit narrow and wasn't helped by Yeates not dropping back to help which left a bit of a hole infront of him. Overall he settled into the game and was decent towards the end making a number of overlapping runs as well as taking care of the Estudientes No 8...

I thought he had a fairly disappointing game. Gave away possession a lot to say the game was so low tempo.

Ertl the pick of the bunch for me but I wouldn't want to base too much on a game like that. Chappell looked promising in his brief spell. Yeates promised a lot without really delivering much.

I thought we looked much better when Evans and Bogdanovich came on and we went 2 up front.

Quite liked their number 2 at centre-back, bit of a hatchet man I bet in competitive games.

Nosworthy was at the ground if that means anything, he did the autograph session.

I thought his positioning & passing at times was poor.
Its only his first game though so i will reserve judgement on his ability till a later date.

No I think thats a little unfair. He got himself into trouble once or twice but the second time was through a bad throw out by Simonsen (who I felt had a good game otherwise). Bodnar's passing looked fairly good to me and he linked up well with Britton and Ward on the right a couple of times.

I think we should have another look at him in training and maybe consider signing him after that. Looked like he could do a job to me and he gets forward well.

I don't take much notice of performances in friendlies but I thought he was distinctly average.

Agree with previous comments on thread, the team looked far better when swithched to a 4-4-2. Game played whilst at 4-5-1 (or 4-3-3 if you prefer) was tedium personified.

First time I've been on John Street since you could stand up there. What a nice view.

thought he did really well .. one last ditch interception was world class.. everyone around us was saying .. who is the number three?.. it was taylor that went off complaining :-/
i sometimes wonder if some of the people on here are really hard to please.. (the guy was on trial in his first game) or you expect us to sign ashley cole.. or whether you were 'at' the game at all? quinn was anonymous as usual.. there were some youngsters behind me who were saying 'oh no.. not quinn' when he did get the ball.. even they can see it..

Opinion in our part of John St was that he was the best player on the park in the first half (Yeats in the second). Given we're short at the back - get him signed up today!

Ive got to say super_pig, I agree with you on most of this. The lad looked steady on the ball and quite intelligent to me. As you say it was his first football for us on trial so to slate him at this stage is rather unfair..........

The guy has 46 international caps so I doubt he's achieved those through being shite. Our supporters expect far too much.
