Dean Smith

Smith didn’t have to give us a goal. Just like he didn’t have to squeal and demand Leeds give Villa a goal when Leeds did nothing against the rules. This was a genuine injustice. If he had any class about him he wouldn’t come out and just say these things happen.

Exactly.

Double post Weasel .. not trying to make myself extra right

Try being correct just once then. That will be a good start for you. Put it on your personal development plan and if you try really hard, you might just achieve your aim.

You are silly.

Out of order that reply AH. You got wrong end of stick, his reply about not worth reviewing was the penalty appeal for Villa, which was correct and not worth reviewing.
I stand by my reply to him. Stockley Park didn't review the aforementioned decision at all. You know yourself that it's mentioned on TV and to my knowledge, we never saw a replay saying 'no decision' or whatever terminology they choose to use.

Besides that, he's talking bollocks. He knows it was a goal and is hear to dangle a rod the sad sack

Of course it was a goal, I’ve not disputed that.

What I dispute is it being Dean Smith’s fault.

And btw, Stockley Park can make an immediate decision meaning it doesn’t need to go to a replay or appeal.

Name an immediate decision by Stockley Park.

The one not to give a penalty for Villa in the first half, hence Oliver pointing to his ear. This means they have seen it and are not willing to review it.
They never checked it. There was no confirmation on TV, nor any replays. Nor has there been any discussion about it on sky sports who have mentioned Stockley Park relating to the goal. Don't kid yourself.

Of course they checked it, hence why Oliver pointed to his ear saying no review needed.

Do you know how VAR works?

Yes. Of course I do. I also know that there are confirmations either for or against shown on TV and screens around the stadium. And on TV afterwards.

Show me where I can correct myself... Or prove you right...?

Even looking down the sky sports app commentary of the game there is no mention of VAR . You're just clutching at a very slim bunch of straws. I have no idea why.

We can argue about this till the cows come home but it won't change anything. Neither will hurling insults at each other.
The only facts are that it was a goal by the laws of the game, and the systems put in place to declare this or not, human or otherwise, didn't work.
Dean Smith isn't paid to be fair or neutral, but the systems and officials are. They weren't.
Anything else is just conjecture.

It didn’t go to VAR that’s why? If it went to VAR people would be notified and told in the stadium. Stockley Park told Oliver it didn’t need a second viewing.

If you need any more help then let me know, happy to assist.

Hmm tough one this.

I'm going to say every post, yeah final answer every post you make is fucking shite.

Your entitled to your opinion.

But I stand by what I said, Dean Smith isn’t at fault.

If you disagree that’s fine, football is all about opinions.

If Oliver is told of a VAR decision, we are all told. Whether or not it is given or not. I know you won't know this supporting a struggling championship club, but we do.

It was never offered to VAR. At all. Stockley Park never mentioned a penalty decision. We've seen it numerous times when they either review a decision or don't.

There's no mention of any potential review anywhere. I called you a fuckin idiot a couple of hours ago and I still stick by it.

Disagree with this. The pictures are clear and it’s a matter of fact decision not an opinion. He knows it was a goal and should have been given. This isn’t like a referees decision or even VAR, the ref said he couldn’t give it because Hawkeye hadn’t given it so he didn’t go to VAR.
Villa had a choice and they opted to not do the right thing in the chance of a win. That’s up to them but I for one hope they don’t win another point this season or next.

Agree to a certain extent, wank goal line technology and VAR aside, but if we was in Aston Vanillas position, in the bottom 3 fighting for every point going, would you expect Wilder to tell Sharp to put it in the net from the kick off at half time? Or would you be telling your team that they’ve just got a dog life and to keep their heads up? Id be well pissed if we put it in our own goal.

But hey ho, how the f*#^ was that not a goal:oops: united, the first team ever to be screwed by goal line technology. Couldnt write it.

Again, the 3 referees at Stockley Park will tell Oliver that it doesn’t need a review!

It isn’t a VAR decision as it doesn’t need VAR! 😂

If it is then Stockley Park will tell him, they decided it didn’t, hence the communication.
