Prince no longer controlling party?

The best way to describe it is that the legal entitlement to own the Property Options transferred from KM to the Prince on the date of the Court Judgement 16 October 2019. Knowing that there was likely to be a challenge in the form of an Appeal but also possibly taking into account valuation of the PO's issues Justice Fancourt gave a timescale to 1st July 2020 to complete the process. Its my view that KM's rights as owner to the PO's were transferred on 16 October 2019 by Court Order. For that reason KM's only requirement with regard to the PO's is to complete the sale. In other words he's in legal limbo. He has no legal ownership of the PO's and his only recourse is to get the best price possible.

That doesn't apply to the Kop Land sites which were not part of the Judgement. KM owns these and continues to own them. He can keep them and is not required to legally sell them onto the Club. This explains why KM was able to board off the Boundary Corner immediately following the Judgement restricting Club access.
Addison No criticism of your assessment. But, when I see stuff like that, I think how did "The Law" get to a position where "A Bloke" can't understand it.
The Transfer of Rights as Owner of the Options, etc

Is that what we intended when we set out on this great Human Journey? (rhetorical)

If you consider the number of Scottish inventors, engineers etc I’d suggest it’s the other way round. We don’t want them coming any further south than Sunderland and the jocks were glad of Hadrian’s wall to keep them out. I believe they told us to keep Berwick after the locals kept punching their horses.

Oh I wouldn't say that

If the Saudi government only want one team in the premier league then Surely they’d have told the Prince he had to sell to them, they’d have got it cheaper than Newcastle and not had to talk to Mike Ashley.

Just gone over during the 8PM noise and popped the tyres on his wheelchair for good measure.
Hope you followed through on the griddle pan smashing?

Felt like it, guy at back of me lit a fire about half seven, fucking house stinks now...

On the other hand, Newcastle have a much bigger stadium a larger international profile.

True, but they aren’t buying into the premier league to make money, it’s to try and change the image of the Saudi state. The Blades are seen in a positive light In the football world at the moment so buying into us would base a job half done. Not that I want them to!

That's a good point, actually.

The only explanation is that Kev has some irons in the fire, he’s causing havoc, he’ll be back. He’s a wily old fox, he said he wasn’t done and it appears that way.

Do Newcastle really have a larger international profile ?
I get the bigger stadium and fan base (although they are mardy buggers).
If I travelled the world I doubt I would see many Newcastle shirts. (Just incase any Newcastle fans are looking on here I wouldn't expect to see many of ours).

I doubt either club is massive business overseas but I would imagine Newcastle are much better known than we are - they've been in the Prem far more and have even ventured in Europe once or twice. That's not to say we can't catch them up (assuming this takeover doesn't knacker us) but at the minute I'd say they have a higher profile.

Maybe he could sell to King Salman to piss on the crown princes chips.
Or he could sell out to any minted foreigner who would like to own a Prem club.
I think there’s a wealthy Thai gentleman who already has considerable business interests in Sheffield - thriving soft drinks company, a fleet of virtual taxis and a scrapyard in S6 - who fits the bill.
