Sorry Sean Thornton You know the path I'm treading. I'm BladesSplaining. Posters talk about "ownership". And "owners". And "The Club". Me, personally, I don't get wrapped up in the legalese. I see it as.....
To be a Football Club, you have to have a few things
Some Players
A Manager
A Badge
A Shirt Colour
A Ground to play on
A pitch to train on

Those things you need to be a Football Club are split between different factions. We have entities which own some, who are constantly arguing with entities that own others. We don't have "an owner". And I would like to see an end to that

I would.

Basically holding power over the day to day running. HRH could devolve that power to his son for example.

The set up now does protect the property, it's used throughout football. Works for me that way.

I don't know who actually "owns" the property at the moment as it hasn't been paid for. Addison is the man to ask. The court said McCabe must sell to the Prince, that's not changed as far as I know so l don't worry about the PSC issues. What needs to be understood is that you can hold the majority of the shares and the minority shareholder can be the PSC. It's not the same thing as ownership and the bedwetters can't understand the difference.

Plc/SUL owned the property and the shares in SUFC yes. Still separate legal entities same as now. Just a different name signing cheques. (Or refusing to do so!)

The best way to describe it is that the legal entitlement to own the Property Options transferred from KM to the Prince on the date of the Court Judgement 16 October 2019. Knowing that there was likely to be a challenge in the form of an Appeal but also possibly taking into account valuation of the PO's issues Justice Fancourt gave a timescale to 1st July 2020 to complete the process. Its my view that KM's rights as owner to the PO's were transferred on 16 October 2019 by Court Order. For that reason KM's only requirement with regard to the PO's is to complete the sale. In other words he's in legal limbo. He has no legal ownership of the PO's and his only recourse is to get the best price possible.

That doesn't apply to the Kop Land sites which were not part of the Judgement. KM owns these and continues to own them. He can keep them and is not required to legally sell them onto the Club. This explains why KM was able to board off the Boundary Corner immediately following the Judgement restricting Club access.
