Like it or not we are goiing to have to be prepared to take our chances at some stage. The main thing is to minimise the risks as best we can but the thought of a pre-match pint in a packed pub buzzing with anticipation of another Blades masterclass and a packed ground seems well off. I'm 71, fit and well at the moment, so I am going to have decide whether I keep myself safe by cutting myself off or just go out accept the future, acting as reasonably aas I can. The worry will be if this comes back again this Autumn, which seems likely as we won't have a vaccine by then, and we go through a similar sorting out of the weak, sick and vulnerable, hopefully not on the same scale.
Of course. without the intervention of medical science, man has always susceptible to nature whether by natural disasters or other such things like the plague, flu etc. This may be one of those 'wake up' times for people to treasure their health more and do everything they can to keep fit and well.
