Mines was South Shields v FC United of Manchester. For obvious reasons. can’t have been many after that EA9FB6A2-C4A2-4575-B6E6-6B1D70EBB4F4.jpeg

As a "teaser". The last match I was at, had The Last Blade Playing. It's not a trick question. He's out on Loan. Go on. Amuse yourselves......

sunday march 1st

travelled with villareal fans to see them lose 1-0 away at atletic bilbao, mainly went to see bilbaos new stadium
was very lively day out as they like their beer, was an eight hour coach journey each way with 2 rest stops, 2 drivers doing 4 hours each

ground is superb, the atmosphere was stunning , especially when bilbao scored

coach trip was 59 euros including matchticket with Villareal supporters club, their equivalent of the Railway
And club provides 4 x 28 can trays of mahou beer on the coach which was nice
and the driver bought 4 more for the return journey, apparently that's normal

Reading away. At least we got 120 minutes for the price of 90

Stevenage?
No. I believe Stevenage played their last game on 7 March, the same day Utd played Norwich. So, there were plenty of Blades playing that day. The Last Blade Playing was out on a park the week after on 14 March....
Sorry

Current or former?
Current Blade, out on loan, played on 14 March, I'm the Propaganda Czar for the Carrier Bag Firm, I go out of my way to visit pubs I might not otherwise get to, the 92 League was cancelled that day, so the Last Blade Playing is likely to have been in non-league (ie, he was), all of which means he might be a Youth Player (hint he is), I drank in the Hooper Micropub.....

Brighton home, then I started with what I thought was a chest infection, and was in no fit state to go to the Norwich game.
My sister used my season ticket, then football got suspended.

Random Kid A v Random kid B at the local park.

BPA v Curzon Ashton?

Yes mate. One of the CBF lives nearby. SUFC Academy Starlet George Broadbent is/was on loan at Curzon Ashton. (He actually went off injured after about 20). I'll stand to be corrected....
But, he truly was The Last Blade Playing.....
Unless Katchouro has made a comeback and there's a Minsk Blade I've missed then I think that's unbeatable!

Frickley Athleticv v Kidsgrove, 0-0 but a cracking game and a great advert for non league football

Yeah, sorry mate, I should’ve made up that I went to an obscure non-league game for the sake of the thread.
With you mate on this one. Norwich at home for me which now feels like years ago

Christ, that’s one hell of a journey. Basically coast to coast.

Reading away also, it was just starting to get a bit ello what's going on here, seems like another time now

Norwich. Had to look it up. 7th March, seems like a lot longer than 2 months ago.

Brentford 5 - 0 Sheffield Wednesday, one silver lining to the current situation is that my last live football was seeing an abject Wednesday team get totally taken apart.

I was there. We made hard work of it, tbf Reading gave it a good go. But it was a good night out. Great pub, Nag's Head, in Reading with cheap bus to and from the ground, £3.50. Saved paying a tenner to park near the stadium and even got us back in time for last orders, despite the extra time.

Norwich at home, followed by Elvis Costello at The City Hall. Seems like a lifetime ago...
