The lowest point in my 50 years of watching Utd ,he left out Coutts and Sharp unbelievably and Baxter was his usual shit self despite being smacked up.
Johnny Byrne?.....and me
Would that be the game in which Willie Carlin had the shirt from Geoff Hurst's back, literally?

Might be an earlier time then. Cant remember seeing Joe Shaw, I also think WHam wore blue shorts. Those look white.I'm not sure but I've a feeling that might have been a significant game for Joe Shaw. Silent Blade??

1966. Mick Hill, Alan Woodward, Mick Jones, Bernard Shaw and Len Badger. Could it be at Ball Inn?Come on then SEB. Who, when and where please.
Hes doing well at the moment ,better than I ever thought he would, he was rank that night. There was real anger from the away fans directed towards anyone associated with Utd but especially Adkins ,Baxters drug taking was the only saving grace for me. Remember getting back in the car , we were all saying fuck Utd thats me done, by the M62 we were making plans for RochdaleAs posted recently, DCL is missing from that motley crew and he was the worst of all, despite only featuring for 45 minutes.
South American tour from 1966 I think. Don't know the opponents though.Come on then SEB. Who, when and where please.
It’s got to be pre season, I don’t recognise the stand in the background as anywhere in this country. Not a clue
I assume this was a pre-season tour somewhere, best I can do is a guess at sometime in the mid-60s.
Club America v Blades at Mexico in May 1966Come on then SEB. Who, when and where please.
Mick Hill hadnt broken into the 1st team yet. Barry Wagstaff and David Munks on the right.1966. Mick Hill, Alan Woodward, Mick Jones, Bernard Shaw and Len Badger. Could it be at Ball Inn?
On the left I mean!Mick Hill hadnt broken into the 1st team yet. Barry Wagstaff and David Munks on the right.
I must admit if that stand was at The Ball Inn it was well before my time.My Bad, Silent Blade and SW12 to S12 to S18 , must learn to expand photos and not make a twat of myself.
I usually manage to.and not make a twat of myself.
Seems to be a lot of players unmarked in our box. Another illusion shattered...

No wonder we lost 4-0!Seems to be a lot of players unmarked in our box. Another illusion shattered...
Be after Jonesy had left then.I think I'm right in saying Mick Jones and Willie Carlin never played in the same Blades match. Missed each other by a week.
Blades 5 West Ham 3 in September 1965
Shaw's 600th game was in February 1965. We won 2-1. Bobby Moore didnt play as he had a testicle removed.I'm not sure but I've a feeling that might have been a significant game for Joe Shaw. Silent Blade??
