And he hasn’t been since the turn of the year, he’s been pretty average at best and shocking at worst, but his goal against Bournemouth seems to have wiped those displays from memory.he wasn’t great

Being on the Hookers sponsored Kop,i missed the Maupay goal and how he scored it,( you know up and down more times than a hookers pants)
Watching the highlights it seems that Berge was marking Maupay in the six yard area and let him nip in front of him,so is that two goals Berge has cost us now.
It was definetley berge although there were several others ball watching tooI think it was McBurnie marking him but either way, the question is why we would let either of them mark their nippy, diminutive and most dangerous player? They’d got enough giants up for Berge and McBurnie to mark, It should have been a defender on Maupay, possibly Baldock IMO.
Berge for me, you can just see he his class. Rarely gives ball away. Holds the ball in a languid style that is effortless. Weight of pass is perfect. Second half was getting better and better.
Other things to note.
Enda - what a rocket, scored some good team goals this jaunt but that was great to see a thunderbolt for once.
Osborn - must have been bricking himself to come on for Enda - did really well and took it to them, great stuff.
Goldy - we've missed him, great cameo, oozes quality, good to see him back.
McBurnie- huffed and puffed but 20 million -really? Was knackered on 60 would have liked to see Moose for him.

The rumour doing the rounds yesterday was that Lunny wants £60k a week, the club have said no & there’s now a stand off.
No idea if there’s any truth at all in it, didn’t hear it from anybody close to the club, probably complete BS.
when subbed, Berge had run the most on the pitch bar Maupay,
