Normally something has been announced and modelled by now. I can't imagine us not changing again. United aren't going to miss out on another source of revenue which involves ripping off supporters at 40 quid a time.....

I would like to see just normal red and white stripes front and back this time. Like the old style kits. No fancy patters on the shoulders or hips! No fancy panels on the back! Just straight, medium sized stripes.....

Also a kit that doesnt run red into the white stripes on any temperature wash!!! That would be nice as well.

Anyone know anything?

I would imagine so, they would never ever put on an offer of buy one get one free for shirts if they were going to use them next season

An away kit with different colours to the home kit would be nice too!

Not t sure about the new kit but they wouldn't sell them off at £15 each if they weren't getting a new one. I'll wait till they're on offere at end o season till i buy mine sick of paying to buy a new one at £40.
I really like this season's home and away kit though, just the colours on the away need changing

I hope the club revert back to the good old yellow and red away kit, could use the same design as the current one but just had it yellow rather than white

I liked the home kit a little at first but to be honest I'm not keen on folding collars. I prefer v-neck in football shirts. The away kit is quite smart but for some reason just doesnt suit United. Not sure why.

As I said before, I would prefer to see a basic red and white stripes style throughout the home shirt with no stupid frills!!! Part of me would like to see white shorts again like in the triple assault season or when we were in the PL with Bassett, but I'm still debating that one.

Away kit should be white with black trim. I liked the one we used to have in the Kendall/Spackman days. If not that then perhaps a dark green, like the old PL one from the Bassett days again!

I know a lot of Blades hold that yellow kit close to their hearts because of the good old days but I wasnt keen at all. Yellow is a gastly colour for a kit and makes the likes of Norwich look like numpties on match days.....

Then again ive never been a fan of yellow. Just as long as they dont go for yellow and purple again!!! Or gold and purple for that matter..........

Foxy mentioned something about the away kit but I can't remember what he said (and not sure he's meant to know).

It does say in the fans charter that they reserve the right to change it every season.

Anyway, vote D! :D

I assume we'll be changing the kits for next season. Its a great chance to fleece fans and bring out 3 new kits. Although I think this season we've had 4 haven't we ?

I've been impressed with the home shirt, its worn very well and is one my favourite kits for a while

Mine went pink, on its own in a delicate wash! What's even more surprising is the fact that its been washed more rigorously before and was fine. One of the biggest mysteries ive ever encountered but once again shows piss poor quality.

At least we got away from the sporty chicken though! :D

I expect with the big sale at the shop we will be changing. Traditional red and white strips for the home kit and lets hope they don't change the sponsor logo colour half way through the season this time. It is always the away kits i look forward to most i would really like an away kit we will actually wear. I think we have worn the black more than the white lets hope we have 1 home and 1 away and make the away a good one.

Yes the club is in the process of having the new kits made.

This is straight from the Head of Retails mouth.

The home shirt ought to be that one we had with the laces on the collar, the away should be the navy blue one with the green and purple diagonal stripe.

You must be washing your shirts wrong. None of my football shirts, none of my clothes at all for that matter, have ever ran.

Its the only shirt that ever has run. Never happened before and it certainly shouldnt happen on a cool, delicate wash. I always check it, particularly with football shirts. I know its happened to a few other people as well. We must be the unlucky ones.

Just looking on the Macron website and they have produced some absolutely shocking kits for some other clubs - check out the Granada and Eastbourne Borough away kits for example. I think if we could go back to any kit I'd go for the 1996/7 home kit by Avec.

Nice, simple broad red and white stripes front and back and no daft fussy collar. Couldn't find a picture of the actual kit but this was the one I'd go for.

I must admit, I've barely wore this current shirt and so have only washed it a few times.

Macron are almost as poor as Patrick. Why are the sizes so big? The home shirt looks terrible with it not having a button on the collar.

I bought the home shorts and the away socks today and they're bloody massive!!! My feet are a size 10 and the socks are still way up past my knees!!!

Just got the yellow, All-Cheating-Chengdu kit off Ebay (for £7ish; there's a few on there).

An Umbro kit, and it's really well made. Very nice.

The first ever kit was actually more like Spurs

But the first version of the famous stripes was paired with blue shorts and socks for 1890-91

Which might account for the year delay

I'd much prefer a kit more reminiscent of the Currie era, simple medium to thick stripes, red round neck collar and cuffs, black shorts no trimmings and plain white socks.

I even sent a design to united but they said they have already selected the new kit and are having them produced now.

Any heres what I sent and what I think would sell shit loads...

I like it Worksop! Exactly the kind of kit I would like to see next season. I am debating whether that would look better with white shorts or whether the black is fine.....

Either way I would buy it!
