Emil Bohinen — son of former Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers and Derby County star Lars — has started a week-long trial with Sheffield United as he attempts to follow his father into the Premier League.
The 20-year-old midfielder with Norwegian club Stabaek will be with the Yorkshire club until Friday in a bid to impress manager Chris Wilder.
The younger Bohinen has also been linked with Brighton & Hove Albion, Sheffield United’s opponents on Saturday, but they currently have no plans to offer him a similar opportunity at the Amex.
