Not a chance we get 3 players in, the more time passes by, the more Chris will have the excuse ready that there wasnt enough time in the month to get the players he wanted, as much as the club tried

I think the situation changed with the WBA Wrexham and then Charlton and Southampton losses, realistically we are not going to make the playoffs. i know points wise it still seems possible, but there are 16 teams above us and can't think we can better 11 of those. Therefore I think the focus has shifted, we signed Basmford because we know he will be good next year in the championship as realistically that is where we will be. If we can do deals that bring in players who will be in a championship promotion pushing squad next season, get them in. Anything else wait, save the cash and use it in the summer. Secondly don't bring in loans which block our own polayers getting experience.

I think issue we have is that our 1st and 2nd choices have gone elsewhere (which was only recently) we are probably now onto our 3rd choice cm.

Those teams are in better positions than us and look more attractive for half a season loan, not much we can really do about it.

Its a shame as I would have liked us to have had 1 eye on next season and try get a little bit done for long term planning, to hit the ground running in new season.

If we only just signed Rothwell & nobody left in January - I’d be more than happy with that. With suspensions coming to an end and not too many injuries - it would put us in good shape for the last 17 games of the season.

well it seems as though cooper has improved in the last month so maybe weve got his back injury under more control and leaving it while the summer really hope we get rothwell and would also like to see another striker arrive in the next couple of days

We need more depth. Just look at what happened to us when we played Southampton. It was a dull game for us, with tired players and Chong being on the pitch.

We may have some midfielders who are at different stages of fitness but have at least 5 who should be available for the following week. Matos hasn’t even gone yet. We can always keep him as insurance if we really want.

Tanganga is going to be back for Oxford and he’s been quite fit. McCallum can always be a 5th choice centre back if needed. Bindon wasn’t really an injury per se. Mee is over the hand issue which was keeping him out.

I actually think we’d be ok. Not totally against one more but it isn’t the end of the world. We’re very decent even when a couple are out.

Pretty much agree. I only want to see signings that offer long term stability.

Onyeke and the lad from Barnsley would be ideal on a permanent.
