Great day today!

Day started off bad(Late for work due to a blown tire) but ended up being quite a good day indeed! Went to my cousin's house to watch the Blades, had some nice beers(Yes early here in the States when it came on but I drink anytime), spilled said beer over myself when we scored our goals, gave a high five to some dude in a tank top(Fuck knows why he was wearing one, cold as a witches tit outside) and on the way home got word from a longtime friend of mine that he is now officially cancer-free.

Always of course a great day when the Blades win, but today when hearing the news about my friend and the Blades getting 3 points, what a great Sunday indeed. Anyone else have some good news happen to them this weekend asides from the Blades getting the win?

Great post Yank and wonderful news about your friend. I had a great day out in Norwich pre match in some great pubs serving excellent well kept beers. The game as you saw turned out great in the end but I thought the team needed the bollocking they got at half time to sort them out.
My good news (nothing as good as yours) was my gentleman’s region not being scalded by the fresh cup of coffee I’d just sat down with on the coach home spilling all over the said area as the driver braked very sharply. It was just my thighs which boiled for a while afterwards. I had to assure certain people that I hadn’t pissed myself.
Apart from that it was a great day out in every sense.

Got a reverse PB in the Bah Humbug 10k/Assault Course. Does VAR take time off for when you've had to pick casualties of the swamps up off the floor?
