Team ethic is the strongest card in our hand as we seek to survive in the Prem. You only have to look at the performance against Liverpool to know that.
CW will allow nothing to to detract from it.
He has instilled in his highly-paid players minds that the team & club is everything.
This is a rare achievement in top level football , where talented players earn Megabucks + can make more money by shifting around every few years.
Duffy , who was a major factor in our recent success , managed to escape with a warning over his wife's tweets about him not getting picked.
He certainly wasn't going to get away with a second transgression when he had a go about his contract in the summer.
I regret his loss to Stoke's bench , but Wilder will not be fucked around by one of his players , however talented.
There's no doubt in anyone's mind who's the boss.
Which is what accounts for our unique brand of success.
Wilder recruits only those players that he judges will buy into the Clubs ethos.
If you've met + chatted to CW , you will know that you can literally "feel" the power of his personality.
He's in the style of a Shankly or a Fergie
As an employee of the Club , there is just no arguing with him , because you know that every thought in his head , every motivating factor in his actions is for the good of the Club.
It's his way , or the highway. No doubt about that.
So don't be worrying about stupid tweets by a daft lad.
Or factions being allowed to develop , because it's never gonna happen under Chris.
It's run as a tight ship down at the Lane.
Any sign of disloyalty to our cause and you're history.
I would'nt have it any other way.
So be confident that RM & KF will have felt the full power of CW's piercing gaze + been left in no doubt that their own futures , whilst hanging precariously in the balance , are up to them to improve.

If there is anything to answer !
Fans jumping to conclusions over a vague tweet. Get a life.

Both the man and the footballer are the result of nature and nurture. For me, CWAK and other staff at the Lane will decide if the footballer has a role to play for the Blades. Lets try not to make any negative assumptions and be kind in our judgement of the man. I hope he gets the help needed to lead a contented and fulfilled life.
Lovely post . It's like an epistle, thistle. 😌

Wasn't fishing but I'll leave it if everybody is offended, we're all on the autism spectrum somewhere.

I’m not offended and before I read up on Autism I thought the same. However, do some reading and you will quickly see how wrong that point is.

From the little of what i've seen of him through interviews and behind the scenes vids he comes across as a very well liked character.

He clearly is struggling with his demons and I hope that the lad overcomes them and develops with us. Would be great to see him in the prem.

Hes got the ability, but perhaps not the belief at the moment.

Need to.start getting him involved now ,the other night would have been perfect for him in a free role
Might not have worked but at least we'd know

Yeah I agree.
If he is not even going to be in and around the squad then what was the point in signing him?
He only offers 'something different' if he is actually involved. Looks like the gamble hasn't paid off.

why should wilder pick him if he is always late to the team coach (billy sharp interview) sounds like he pisses around a lot and in the cwak mould it would be a poor showingg to just let ravel in the squad on the back his past glory... freeman seems to have worked very hard and deserved his place on thursday

I think the game was crying out for someone unpredictable who can pick a pass no one else can see
I'd start getting him involved for short spells because in the second half of the season teams are going to sit in and try and catch us on the break and we've got to try and play through the lines and down the middle rather than out wide

I disagree. He looked poor in the two cup games.

where would you play him? Norwood role like he has played the last few years? The duffy role where he started out?

He is nowhere near as good as Norwood and no where near as good as mcgoldrick or freeman who can play in the duffy role.

You can't judge him on the cup games maybe he isn't good enough but we need someone who can come in and create against stubborn defences and if he can't do it then we need to buy someone who can

There are only 2 pieces of evidence available to judge him on. 2 poor performances in the cup and wilder not picking him For the match day squad.

I think we have the creative types in McGoldrick and Freeman. I agree we should look to replace mcgoldrick as he ages out.

Where and how did he say that? Not doubting you for a moment genuinely interested

Don't judge him yet then ,the entire team have been shite in those cup games and ravel got motm in one of them and set up a goal

If he's not good enough then fair enough but Freeman should have been involved in that game from much earlier than he was as well

I heard the same interview, few months ago now - possibly just after Bournemouth. Think Sharp said that Ravel picks up the most fines, is often late etc. It raised red flags in my mind too. Its a great interview with Sharp, pretty sure it's via a forum member, lasts about an hour.

From Wilder's most recent interview I wouldn't deduce that he thinks too highly of Rav.

Because he wasn't on the bench?
Maybe cwak have seen him play, without needing a prem game appearance to know?

If you read through the thread one post a time you'll understand what has been said to constitute the 11 pages.

Radical.

It’s essentially a couple of opposing points that have been continuously repeated.

The Sun (yeah I know, I know), saying today that SUFC are ready to "rip up his contract" and go all out to get Eze from QPR.

Not sure if this is just lazy journalism or whether someone thinks us being interested in Eze means the end for Morrison, or whether someone is genuinely in-the-know?

Anyway, seeing as he doesn't even make the bench, I can see there being some grain of truth in here somewhere.
