Suprisingly got tickets this morning, thought we'd have already sold out.

What's it like for getting into the boozers in donny town centre for blades fans? I can feel an early start coming on for this one!

Not sure about the pubs, a mate at work is a season ticket holder there, says there is a pub in the ground that lets away fans in

According to the OS, there's still 400 tickets left for this one.

Being sold until 16:00 on Friday. No tickets available on the day.

How the fcuk have we not managed to sell this one out already, their ground only holds 15,000 or something and we can't sell a poxy away end again for a SYorks Derby

I think this calls for a "Massive club" on ourselves.... Shame on us.

I thought this one would have sold out before it even got to general sale as we've only been allocated just over 3000 tickets.

I'm thinking it might have something to do with our recent dire performances away from home.

Anyway it worked out well for me not selling out straight away so i'm looking forward to a good day out then beer festival in leeds when I get back.

Because we are crap, that's why. Because we have a joke of a manager and our away form is dire. We've lost 8 on the bounce away from home and I should imagine people are sick of travelling to games.

Personally I'be be very surprised if we got anything more than a draw from this game and hence am not surprised that we haven't sold out yet. It might be not very far away, but other than a bit of banter and a few beers with mates I can't see why blades fans would shell out between 30 and 100 quid.

My prediction is a dull 1-1 draw.

See normally I would think the same as you, however................

Let me see, I could go to the game at Donny........would cost me about £60 quid (roughly) by the time I'm finished...............and United will probably be crap...........

OR; I could stay at home........watch Soccer AM.......watch Villa v Wolves on HD..........Watch Soccer Saturday with Jeff Stelling over a few beers..........Play FIFA 10 for a couple of hours and chillout on the sofa?????? All the while spending nothing..............

Let me think ???????

 NO BRAINER!

Where is the best place to park at Donny?

Taking the kids for their first away match so hopefully the game wont be as poor as i'm thinking it will be!!

Theres a few industrial units around the ground that offer parking, we usually end up in one of them. Theres also the cinema/adsa car park, but I'd imagine theres a risk of fines etc.

Thanks Foxy any friendly pubs near the ground??

Theres a bar at the ground if away fans are still allowed in.

If not, theres a Beefeater at lakeside or there used to be a bar in the bowling place next to the cinema (other side of the lake).

Not sure how people are getting there tomorrow or if you're up on public transport??

I'm getting a South Yorkshire Day tripper - unlimited travel on bus, tram or train for £5.80.

Gonna set off around 10:00.

The website says get bus number 72 or 75 from Donny interchange to the ground. £5.80 for all day travel is a bargain in my eyes. Ask any bus driver for tickets apparently.

Turn off the m18 at junction 3 and keep going right to the end. As you pass the Yorkshire Outlet shopping mall on the left, over to the right of the next roundabout is loads of parking areas. Ground is a 5min walk away. See you all tomorrow. I'll try not to lob my pie at you Linz!

Last chance saloon this Blades! Must win today and must win away to Cardiff. Anything less and I think we can call it quits on this season...........

Come on you red and white WIZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARDZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

It's not started well 1-0 Doncaster after 5 minutes. Hayter.

why are we being out classed by Doncaster Rovers??????????????????????????????????????

Can we not just c and p these match threads from all the other away games and save everyone the bother?

Think I'll claim that one :-)

I was right behind the net and on my way out as we scored. I literally sucked the ball into the net. Get in. :thumbup:Bristol away style celebrating behind the net. A steward was'nt impressed with me.
