I know it's old ground but I think we are better when these two don't play.

Trouble is the ball wasn't sticking up front when we were under a bit of pressure yesterday so I'm sure blackie will bring back Hendo as soon as possible.

I'd give them both supporting roles on the bench myself.

Henderson is our easily top scorer despite inhuries and suspension. We played wonderful football against Bristol City, with him in the side. He scored too. The hoofball isn't Henderson's fault.

I agree about Quinn.

Think alcoblade is spot on. It's not Henderson's fault and he is the best we have at holding the ball up and providing us with a physical element. He just needs to cut the silly elbows and such. Take away the cheeky goal yesterday and I don't think Cresswell did much good to be honest.

I thought that the midfield had a really good balance, I agree that Hendo doesn't hoof the ball but it does seem to me that as soon as he plays we fire high balls at him.

The trouble with Hendo is he is a liabilty. He has a reputation as a dirty player so refs give him nothing. We lose 50 -50s and even when he is balatantly fouled we dont get a penalty. Its a shame because i agree he was awesome at bristol.
On the subject of penalties I had to laugh out loud when they said on MOTD that Mike Dean is never slow to give a penalty. Obviously except at Wembley last May!

Agree with alcoblade completely. Hendo is our most effective forward. Simple as that; and his record proves it no matter how much anyone wants to think otherwise. He is a good footballer and can play well with his feet when we have played in a style that allows it.

What he needs to work on is his temperement and general behaviour. Once he learns to throw his weight about without getting carded he will be fine.

Agree on the original post that we are better off without Quinn at the moment.

Unless Henderson can cut out the silly stuff he will always be a liability. We would be better looking for a strike partnership that didnt spend so much time watching from the stands
