Along with the kids on day release from Guantanamo Bay.
I'm not totally on board with it but you've (inadvertently?) hit the nail on the head when you say this is the way football is going. Like it or not we have to embrace it. One of the reasons Man City are gradually taking over Manchester is their engagement with the younger generation, they are absolutely streets ahead of Man Utd on pretty much everything that interests the kids.I shudder when I see it. Its embarrassing and shows the way football is going. We're Yorkshire folk, not two-bit teams trying to become NFL wannabees.
Half and half scarves n'all, get em gone.
Woke up on the wrong side of the bed![]()
Not a patch on this though is it?

FWIW I think we are in a decent place on that regard, relatively sensible pricing, a slick social media/production team and things like the pyro/lights last night. It wasn;t utterly tacky and the kids will have loved it.

I think last night's 'light show' (which a mate loved) would have been down to Sky.

We had it for the league cup game so I’m not sure who‘s idea it is. I know a few clubs also have it but I’ve not seen it in action on Sky.I think last night's 'light show' (which a mate loved) would have been down to Sky.

We have to move with the times or get left behind , kids love this type of thing so that's it .I understand how Hodgy feels but he will remember the sixties when pigs were leaving us behind with the media antics ,we kept with it now it's our turn to forge aheadIt's the sort of thing I'd normally moan about as well, but I actually quite enjoyed it for some reason.
Along with the kids on day release from Guantanamo Bay we've come a long way since having a marching band and TC Harrison's driving Ford Cortinas round the pitch at half time.
