Back 3 CBs, never really looked troubled, they will serve us well this year. Their goal was a ping pong fluke. Bournemouth attack is considered excellent in PL. Never got a look in today. Teams always seem to have an off day playing us. What most don't realise how good we are at nullifying their threat. How many clean sheets last year?

Any one of the back 3 for me too. Them plus Jags are going to define our season. Special mention too for Deano for that worldy.

If Deano had made a double save to prevent the goal as he almost did and we went on to snatch it at the end he would of been close to being my motm even tho had little else to do.

In saying that he still looks uncomfortable AF getting a back pass.

Billy. Without him it's a disappointing 1 nil loss. This result means so much more than a point. It brings belief and confidence to take us forward. So it's Billy Mom for me.

This is an excellent point away at an established premier club. Bournemouth will be gutted. Of course for us, Bournemouth are the type of opposition we have to take points from if we are to stay up, it's a major achievement by ALL of the team. Billy came on and we upped the pressure and we went for it, he influenced the game and got us what we needed.

Never forget where we've come from and what we're up against - Man City's bench yesterday was worth 300 million. Enjoy the ride.

Egan. He is the general at the back who marshalls the other troops. We are as solid as a fossilised dinosaur turd when he is on his game.

haha
remind me of who scored the goal

I’d prefer to remind you of punctuation. In addition your ‘of’ is superfluous.

So, whoever scores a goal is man of the match, or only if he’s a Bladey favourite? I think we should know for future reference.

Lunny played in McGoldrick twice. Shame he couldn't finish them off.
so he could easily have had 2 assists. But don't let that get in the way of your bias.
Bias? Yawn. Lazy comment. Said on several threads and shoutbox Lunny was better than I expected and good by his standards. But MOM? No way.

Think you have already made your mind up so you don t need my input on your made up names.

He did indeed and an excellent run and cross to set up a chance for Robbo. Norwood’s clever free kick set up our goal. Fleck?

Am I the subject of a spelling lesson this morning?
Here was I thinking this was a debate about a great goal scorer.

No, it’s about whether scoring a goal automatically makes a player ‘man of the match’ or does that rule only apply to a favourite player?

Fleck?
Sorry I don't understand the question?

It was a general observation, not aimed at you. It was rhetorical. I thought Fleck was our weakest player yesterday. It’s worth pointing out to those who missed Lundstram’s obvious positive contributions.

Lundstram had a really good game, Stevens played to his usual high standards and the rest of them played reasonably well, we’re on the march now and getting a well deserved point towards the end will only bode well for the confidence of the whole club.

We didn’t have a weak player on the pitch and for me, we should’ve won the game.

At the end of the day, goals scored will be what keeps us up.
would you be calling Robinson your names if he had scored?
whoever scored deserves the credit.

I agree. I thought Fleck was the least impressive of a very good bunch. As I’ve said before, I accept I’m not his biggest fan so do take that into account. That factor applies with even more weight to those who are in denial about John Lundstram’s performance.
