I’m a massive Sabbath fan and have seen the band live many times since 1978.

All through those years the connection with Villa has only really been acknowledged regularly by Geezer Butler.

Having said that, it’s great that the city of Birmingham are keeping their spirit alive and acknowledging their place at the top of Heavy Metal history.

One of my favourite ever stories revolves around Ozzy Osbourne and his decision to give Acid the boot.

After he’d taken a boat load of it, he wandered off into a field and ended up talking to a horse. At the end of his hour long conversation, the horse told him to fuck off. Ozzy was so perturbed by this, he never took acid again.

Bloke was mental.
