Lads group on What's app last night we got chatting about how many points we will have after the first 4 matches, range was from 1 to 7 with the majority thinking 6.. Just wondered what you lot thought ?

I'll go for 4. Maybe draw against Bournemouth or Leicester and beat Palace.

3. As we usually do under CW we will have a very slow start, no points in first 3 games. Then bang... we surprise every pundit and beat Chelsea at their own gaff, and thus the season begins.
Yeah I agree. And now onto the second poll, who will be the first poster to say that Wilder is out of his depth (again)?

1 from a draw against Palace. I'm backing Leicester to get top 6. I think that game might be the club wide wake up call

Based on preseason form 1, if palace sell Zaha

Relax.

Chill.

Have a beer / ciggy.

It doesn’t matter.

At all.

If we get relegated by NYE with 0 points on the board, then we will drop down a division and go again.

THIS IS THE WORST CASE SCENARIO.

Not so bad is it ??

Taken the loot, strengthened the squad and had our 15 minutes.

It’s all good. Trust me 😀👍.

A first game win would, understandably, be ideal.....but as with almost every game in the Premier Division, I'm expecting us to be tested, so a draw would be a decent result. It would give us something to use as we move on to the next game. Confidence in any walk of life is vital, so to go away to a team that has paid it's dues in the Prem would at least give us the lift that will be so helpful as we contemplate how to address our next test.

My instincts, admittedly not finely honed, tell me that we might have an ace in our pack with the signing of Ravel Morrison.

4. And I'd take that.

But if it's 1 or less then Wilder will need to reconsider how he approaches the start of a season.

I think deffo a slow start and not many points at (if any) until we grow into the season and the new players have gelled. I also think that the 'negative' approach for the last pre-season game was purely an experiment to see how we could change our approach for this season - mainly away at Man City and the likes. Needs some more work if you ask me 😂

Still can't wait for the start. A defeat at Born Muff would not be a disaster but I can feel the woodwork bulging now

2 or 4, two draws two losses, or a win, a draw and 2 losses, I hope I'm wrong, and we get 12, but it's our first season back, new players and we need a bit of time to adjust.
