Nearly scored then. Morrison, McBurnie. Flashed across goal, everyone missed and then a Freeman I think drilled a shot which rebounded off a man on the line.

Mcburnie steals the ball and lays off to Ravs who goes on a run and fouled on edge of area. Free kick Blades

Wide from a Ravel Morrison free kick.

Definitely in it more since the attacking subs.

Seems Morrison is impressing today. When he's match fit I'm sure he'll be a starter. Not worried about today other than JOC's fitness.

I think Wilder will be critical afterwards. The only sure starters for next week are going to be Deano, Stevens & Robinson. Everyone else is fighting for a shirt.

Remember when you were little and it was a Saturday morning and your Mum says get ready you've got to come shopping with me but you just want to sit about in your pajamas and watch Live and Kicking/ Thundercats/ Thunderbirds/ Champion the Wonder Horse? (Delete depending on age)

Well that's what we looked like today.

I'm not worried. We'll be up for Bournemouth.

Wish this french tit would point his camera at the action in stead of waving his fucking baguette holders around
i thought he had been drinking what was the two fingers all about and doesnt speak english but said i dont speak english well lol

I don’t think he’ll start - I suspect he’ll have cameos for specific roles, and we’ll get another midfielder in.

But if for whatever reason Wilder thinks he’s good enough based on a new formation, I’d trust him over the burger flippers on here.

Burger flippers? Do any of us want Wilder's job? Are any of us qualified to do so? Did you trust Weir with such reverence? What about Adkins?

You need to have a coke and a fucking smile, alco. This is a forum, where we give opinion. It's ours, your have yours. We disagree ... respectfully.

Now dry your eyes and put your jizz sock away. Lundstram is a mistake-signing, brought in because Sordell broke Coutts's leg and put a dent in our PL hopes and dreams. And McCabe, bless his cottons, probably smirked when CW went to him and told him we were one-brick thick in Coutts's position and wanted a replacement. We got Lundstrum, bargain basement, from Oxford, for next to nowt. He's done one good thing in the Blades shirt and that involved Grealish. I think that's possibly it. Just like Monty, he looked and sounded a decent player, but on reflection, wasn't. Like Lundstrum, Monty wouldn't get into Wilder's team this season or last. I hope you'll agree.

finished. They were a class above for most of the game. We improved last 20 mins with freeman on and morrison. Lunny and Norwood played like they had just got out of bed. Lets hope we play better next week. Im sure we will

And your opnions are famously reactionary, based on heresay and what your mate told you. (I know, you made it to one last year).

I had a conversation with my son about how long it would be before the pussies crumbled if we had a bad run.

I argued Wilder would have full confidence throughout. I forgot about the usual suspects on this forum, melting on a weekly basis in the shoutbox.

Poor start to second half they went up a gear we stayed in the same flat formation despite two changes. 3-1 down and its 65 minutes before we finally get two forwards and a number 10 on the pitch. More even game and two decent chances for us near the end.

Morrison in his short cameo showed what we will need in midfield in the prem. Someone who can run at and go past the opposition with the ball. I really hope we can get him fit because he offers something different.

To-days opposition are the type we will face most weeks in the Prem. They press high and with pace all over the pitch. It was a good work out for that reason and puts in perspective the poor opposition we have played in other pre season friendlies.

I really hope to-day has convinced CW to dispense with the 3-5-1-1 formation for the Bournemouth game as we looked devoid of ideas and resorted to the long ball too often.

We'll all need to get on the prayer mats this week to get JOC fit. Huge problem when he's not in the team and the lack of a quality back up is becoming more evident.
