Grudge dead and buried!

One for the oldies;

For several decades I have carried a grudge against the Blades. I was lucky enough to see the fabulous early seventies team win promotion and then top the league 6 games as I remember (Went to all those games)
All we needed IMO was some more investment in that squad to become a force in the future - well we spent little and of course got relegated in 1975.

Today we spalsh our £20 million for a striker. (OK we had a bit of help from Sky TV ). Never thought I'd see this in my time.

Can't wait for the new season watching the new Blades, looks like we're giving it our best shot.

A bit of a strange, even curious post mate. Are you fucked off with the club, or was there another reason for posting?

Yes, we appear to have finally joined the ranks of elite clubs. My take is that we'll have to learn and learn fast, but our recruitment has been above average and we've been able to buy some great potential. Robinson looks the mutt's nuts, Oli M could be a great addition, and I've a sneaking suspicion that Freeman will become a great player for us. There's only one priority this term, survival. If Wilder manages to achieve that, next season could be even more exciting - at this rate it won't be long before we sign our first £30 or 40 million player.

Whatever, I hope your grudge has finally vanished and that you're as pleased as punch that we're a Prem club at long last. UTMB!!!

Quite possibly, but that's almost 50 years ago, time to let go I think, it's the least Wilder deserves.
