1983 away shirt. (Help, extreme shirt nerd questions)

So I was missing two shirts from my collection. The 86, away and this the 83 away.
Some nice fellow pointed this out on CFS legend!

Anyway I gulped at the price stuck it on a credit card and it's here! But something doesn't feel quite right. The Umbro logo is missing the text and doesn't appear to be the right colour. Has anyone ever seen one like this? Those nice dudes with this shirt what does yours look like? mind sharing some pictures?

When the Umbro kits came out in 83 the replica kits had the stitched on round badges. But after a few years 85 or 86 It did have these transfer type as on your shirt, but sure it had Umbro written under their diamonds and it may have been black.
Looks spot on, if expensive!

As said above, the player issued shirts had the Umbro diamonds in black with the wording underneath, but can't be sure about the replica kits as they often differed slightly.
Looks better in red anyway.

Unless I'm mistaken, didn't the player-issued kits have a red Umbro logo with the writing on underneath? I thought the black logo was only on the home shirt.

Like a few I'm missing this and the 86 away. Just seen GUN are releasing this today, but looks way off the original. Might get it as a stop gap same as I did with the 86 from SSM. Ditto for me for the 86 away....medium or large...the GUN version is ok but looks wrong shade of yellow sadly and the Arnold on the logo is too big....

The bright reproduction is a decent attempt also but the logo looks wrong also...he might have been better doing them without the sponsors.

He does take a lot of time doing these and hard for them to be perfect.

As above though anyone wants to discuss selling the mid 80s yellow either shirt...one with shadow stripes or the red and white block I would be interested. With a few reproductions from GUN/Shoreham St I think I have now every shirt since 1976 but of course love to get some originals to replace some of the late 70/early 80 ones.

Can't wait til this comes up ebay, the first shirt I owned. Would fetch a fortune in adult big sizes, as there'd be a lot of competition!
