Camanbert Electrique Greenwich. Angels Egg and Steve Hillages Fish Rising.
Oh and a threes up with Bambaloni and Shakti Yoni.
Both playing in Sheffield in November. I can assure you that Bambaloni is still a looker, but sadly Shakti Yoni died about three years ago now. I know it's a long way off but I've already secured myself a spot on the guest list.

I look forward to meeting you Greenwich.
Seen Gong many times. First time at Sheffield City Hall. I think Faust supported.
Last time at The Limit. Will be in attendance in November. I've a spare room if you're not hitching straight home!

I'm actually thinking of doing the whole tour, dependent on the inheritance situation and whether the NHS will have sacked me by then (I'm currently on the naughty step but I can't talk about it). Kavus Torabi, the current Gong frontman and formerly of other Greenwich Holy Trinity representatives Cardiacs (Yes make up the triumvirate) is an old mate going back to 1993 when I met him in the audience at a Cardiacs gig at the Camden Palace. Him and Steve Davis - yes, that one - interviewed Daevid Allen for their old radio show, and the next day I got a text from Kavus saying. "Don't tell anyone but I think I've just joined Gong!" And he had. Gong are also The Steve Hillage Band so it should be a rocking good night with power, peace and patchouli oil.

Is Maupay going :D

I believe Juanpi will be there checking out the Sheffield music scene before his imaginary move

I like the similarities of Juanpi and Maupay. Has the same joker got us all wound up about both I wonder? there isn't a player called Gary Costalot we'll be linked with next is there?

Brilliant! I'll be there.

Have a cup of tea, have another one etc......

Kind of contradictory that.
If other clubs (ie Villa) are interested then as they are rival bIdders, surely that’s more likely to drive the price up, not down.

Imagine if HP got in on the rumours!! Straight from the sauce.

It doesnt feel like its gathering pace ! Oh shit, I'm supposed to be having a break!

Blackwell added: ‘After training yesterday James was clearly suffering from a touch of flu. If he's fit then he'll play.

‘If he's not then he won't.’

So it was Blackwell who said Beattie has flu , not McCabe, I rest my case.

Wrong it was McCabe I remember it like it was yesterday and what really turned my head.

Same as property auctions - start out a low price but when the auction gets going, sells for a price usually as high as the market rate
