One year with our option to extend for another (or 2) has to be the best contract option.
I think it'll take months of training and conditioning with a PL club to get him to the level to make a serious impact.
Then if he starts looking brilliant in April with 2 months left on his contract, we're covered against losing him for nothing.
We could see him as more of a long term than short term signing. He does still have time on his side.
It was McCabe - who brokered the deal, think that was confirmed in the court case.
Surely CW would want to see him in pre-season games before offering a contract. If he's earmarked to take one of the twenty five squad places, he'll need to be able to make an impact prior to April.
If it's good enough an arrangement for McGoldrick, it's good enough for Morrison.
I think Utd are in a strong position - i can't imagine many other Prem sides will have expressed an interest in him.
I'm not going through 10 pages of people arguing about whether dogs are counted in the attendance to see if somethings already been posted.
Some of us are supposed to be working right now haha
An exciting player who has been through the mill.Am I the only one not enthused about this? I don't understand where he plays in our system and looking at his prior clubs and stats at 26 he has mustered a whole 9 goals and 4 assists...
You do realise that players do it for a reason and not to be 'cool' or 'different' I don't know morrisons situation, but memphis depay has just 'memphis' because his dad wasn't around and when he was he wasn't let's say very good. Similarly with virgil van dijkNo.
Not just because of his history, he wears his first name on the back of his shirt.
Anyone over the age of 10 with their first name on the back of their shirt can do one.

Still 76 rated on fifa, so technically he would be our best player! Gerrhimin!
100% related to thisThats the trouble with computer stats. On my Playstation I can hit a tee shot miles, in reality the grass sod usually travels further than the ball...............
Same reason Dele Alli switched his to Dele - didn't want his dad's name associated with his success.
For the naysayers and worriers, rest assured that if CWAK decide to sign him. It will be for the right reasons, on the right money, on the right type of contract. CW is the best gatekeeper in football. He doesn't need advice from anyone on here.
If he does sign, I guarantee he will look like one of the best players we have ever had, and if he maintains it over the season, he will be a £40m player.
I would personally rather take the risk on him, than a risk on an unproven championship player. I'm excited.
Total shite
