I'm not going through 10 pages of people arguing about whether dogs are counted in the attendance to see if somethings already been posted.

One year with our option to extend for another (or 2) has to be the best contract option.

I think it'll take months of training and conditioning with a PL club to get him to the level to make a serious impact.

Then if he starts looking brilliant in April with 2 months left on his contract, we're covered against losing him for nothing.

We could see him as more of a long term than short term signing. He does still have time on his side.

Surely CW would want to see him in pre-season games before offering a contract. If he's earmarked to take one of the twenty five squad places, he'll need to be able to make an impact prior to April.

If it's good enough an arrangement for McGoldrick, it's good enough for Morrison.

I think Utd are in a strong position - i can't imagine many other Prem sides will have expressed an interest in him.

And a 25 man squad is very big. We don't need 25. There is easily space for 2 or 3 'Kean Bryans'.

We are in a strong position, and should use that to make sure we're still in a strong position if his bargaining position improves tenfold.

I’d definitely take Morrison, it’s not a massive risk as no transfer fee etc.

Those who doubt, make no mistake - this guy would be one of the most talented players to ever wear the shirt.

Whether that translates to being effective and successful on the pitch is another matter and seems to be his problem throughout his history.

But if it clicks, we would have some player.
