Paddy Kenny selling his medal.

Unknown car park (2).jpgOne for the motoring enthusiasts. Also any ideas where it is? Couple of clues with the buildings.

He was, like Bert, an Ecclesfeldian.
He was indeed. I was in his house on The Wheel on a few occasions , the historical importance of who I was in the presence of totally lost on an 8 year old.

Bert's step-great grandmother was ill in bed in 1925, they lived on the High Street, the Johnson family took the FA Cup to show her it.

Carver Street?
I must first say I found the photo on a local civic web sight of photos and it stated unknown street. As an outside chance I thought someone on here may know, I don't, but feel it could be somewhere between West St and Wellington St. Thought the buildings might help recognition, particularly the older white one top right. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the cars, more often than not cars stimulate much discussion and that was my main aim for posting the photo.

Well the cars are the easy part. My guess's would be front row, a barely visible Rover 90, A30/5 van, Anglia, Frog Eye, A30, Ford Pop and possibly a Minor or Beetle judging by the roof. Back row from the left 2 x A30/5, Wolseley 16/60, Mk1 Cortina 2 door and another Pininfarina styled BMC product.

Some of the cars don't seem to have number plates so my guess would be close to a Kennings dealership circa '64-65.
