...if we sold BDBL for 30 pieces of silver. Derby have done it, Villa thinking about if they don't go up and Pigs creaming themselves because it seems the Dolphinkiller family are to buy the Sty and rent it back. EFL sitting idly by and watching these cheats prosper.

I wouldn't be happy at all. However, I can say that as a man who doesn't have to worry about the club's finances.

Does the football club currently own the ground?

McCabe owns it and has seperated it from the football club and he charges rent
There was something in the court case where McCabe wanted to put the rent up and Prince wasnt happy about it
I thought that was the case, just wasn't sure

Yes, as long as they rename it the Tampax Arena or summat equally embarrassing that shits on our club's history.

As previous posters have explained - the thing that Derby are being criticised for, and SWFC are rumoured to be doing to get out of a financial mess, selling the ground to the owner & then renting it from him - we've already done that. So, be a bit careful if you're pointing a finger & laughing.

We didn't do it for that reason though, we seperate the club an property to make the playing arm of the buisness more attractive to investors.

This is partly correct, it was likely a case of McCabe protecting his investment in the club so the whole lot can’t be bought from under him for a song and also making the football club cheaper to investors.

It may also have been so that someone couldn’t come in and buy the club and relocate the team to a soulless bowl somewhere.

The derby and pigs transaction is purely an ffp wheeze.

Derby, Wednesday & SUFC all did it for some Money Bollocks Smoke And Mirrors. One financial crisis is the same as another to me....
