He could be a key player next season. I say give him a chance. CW saw something about him to bring him in, let's see.Wait another 12 months.

Surprised Wilder has released the numbers he has; not because any individual is top quality, but it risks losing our spirit.
Not trying to be dramatic, you'd hope Wilder will make the best decisions with better infomation than me and he obviously values our spirit.Loans aside (the loans were always heading back initially), we’re effectively releasing 3 – 1 that’s been with us a while but only started 1 game, 1 that’s started less than 10 games and hasn’t been with us long, and 1 that hasn’t been with us long and hasn’t featured in many games. I think the spirit will be alright.
It’s actually fairly similar to the 2017 released list. McNulty and Scougall were released. EEL and Chapman returned to their parent clubs. Done, Hussey, Wilson listed. O’Shea opted to leave for regular football. I don’t think the squad the following season felt too different, despite the change. The really key parts remained the same.
I feel part of the reason now! Even when I dropped the 'y' I often gave him too many 'i's. Sorry Martin. Best of luck.Unfortunately for Cranie, there’s an obscure PFA rule stating if more than 50% of a player’s club’s fanbase regularly misspell the player’s name for a full season you aren’t allowed to keep them. Extremely harsh on Cranie, but I don’t make these rules up.
Amazing how quick: 'these boys deserve a chance/we have a special togetherness/the whole squad have got us over the line' turns into 'need to be ruthless/not good enough for the prem/overhaul required, lets do a Fulham.'
How many people said the same about our players when we came up from league 1?
Surprised Wilder has released the numbers he has; not because any individual is top quality, but it risks losing our spirit. Wilder might have to sign unknown (foreign) players without trustworthy character references, and it can always go wrong regardless.
I would say doing a Fulham isn't going down, it's having a quality team and style of play and destroying it with massive changes over one transfer window. They are now geting relegated with huge squad of players on massive prem wages who don't want to play in the championship. We would also do a Fulham if we don't get rid of those deemed not good enough and have little to no room for new additions.
I'm sure a deal (loan or permanent), will be wrapped up for Henderson soon and I wouldn't at all be surprised if he's not our first signing of the summer.
I’ll look forward to your annual list of “every Tom Dick or Harry” with the most baited of breaths.I'd post my recruitment wishlist too but I'm having too much of a hard time deciding between Calum Chambers or Harry Wilson on loan while trying to keep it all British and Irish...

Oh and please feel free to add a few dozen more to the list after it’s compiled. It makes it even more unmissable reading.
UTB
'Paul Coutts, Martin Cranie, Conor Washington, Daniel Lafferty and Caolan Lavery will all leave Bramall Lane when their current deals expire this summer.
Leon Clarke, Jake Wright, Ched Evans, Samir Carruthers, Nathan Thomas, Ben Heneghan and Ricky Holmes have all been placed on the transfer list, despite still being under contract.
Meanwhile, Dean Henderson, Kieran Dowell, Scott Hogan, Gary Madine and Marvin Johnson will all return to their parent clubs following the completion of their loan deals.

Not surprised to see Coutts go, I think most people who were confident we would see the best of him after his leg break were kidding themselves.

Really surprised Freeman ain’t listed.
How on Earth have we held onto Sharp/Sharpe (delete as appropriate) for so long then??
Lunny is going to be our Leighterwood of the premier league. In years to come Dele Alli book will mention him as his easiest opponent
#BlameSordell
never does. you never hear about who he is after. you just getCW not hanging about.
Cranie thing is interesting. Wilder is really good at transfers and won't have his pants pulled down. perhaps boro have been on asking for daft money cos we got promoted.. i reckon he might be waiting and psyche them out. Wilder won't be paying Premiership premiums
so does this mean we are keeping Bryan?? get the feeling Wilder must have seen something in him in training, he was certainly in the celebrations in a big way, maybe we will see next year
oh.. i'm getting confused now. gets weirderI don't think he was on loan to us. We got him on a free transfer I think.

Has Andy Giddings called it wrong by saying Lundstram is for sale? Official site doesn't mention him.
Must admit I was surprised to see Giddings mention him. His role towards the end of the season (ie. often being used ahead of Coutts) suggested he might well be in Wilder's squad plans for next year. Likely available at the right price, particularly if we bring another CM or two in, but right now he's decent cover. I've got no problem with that.
Agreed his hit rate is around 1 in 3 .... and its a good job Billy's is more than 2 in 3If we sign say 9 or 10. At that rate We will upgrade at least a third of the side with substantial improvements. Most managers would kill for that success rate - and it doesn’t even count the fact there are v few disasters on his resume (hussey and ched?) most of the others have provided at least some value.
Think there will be some disappointed blades going by some of the signing suggestions! Just saw Danny Drinkwater mentioned... The bloke was instrumental to Leicester winning the league and he must be on a fair wedge. He could have his pick of club from the top 6 (possibly spurs too). Personally I don't want a big 'star signing' as I feel it will upset the dressing room. Wilder has a tough job ahead balancing keeping current squad happy and bringing in enough quality.
Very interesting Summer ahead.
Apologies it meant to say from outside the top six!Struggling to work out if this is a joke or not...? Danny Drinkwater will have his pick of the top six?
