Technically I'm feeling unwanted.....

Bought a new iPad (A) and been setting it up.

Used the transfer setup by linking to phone, worked ok. However, it doesn't transfer stored passwords and I can't remember my S24SU password so can't log on to here on new iPad (A). So I logged in using old ipad (B) and tried to change my password,

Only problem is you can't change it to a new password without confirming your old password first (and I can't remember it as its on autofil). With me so far?

Ah, thought me I'll try logging in on new iPad (A) and clicking on 'Forgotten password'. Great, it sez it's sent me an email to reset it, but it didn't. I've done it 3 times and still no email!

So I PM'ed Foxy and Linz but they don't want me signing in cause they've not replied, then I used the contact us button, and I did, but they dint reply!

I’d assume that they’re busy at the moment. In the meantime if you have anything pressing to add to the forum then use your old iPad. I’m sure you’ll be set up on your new iPad soon enough

Have you checked the email address associated with the account is the one you think it is? If yes, and it is, then wait for a Fox to get in touch and man up a little.

Ffs sake read OP old iPad (B). Simples, even LJBlade got that I'm only moaning cause I was wanting to transfer over so I could use my old iPad at the kittens rescue centre.

Just go into passwords in settings and look it up.

Old iPad (B) don't have the password look up, it's software is about ios 9.6

Have you checked the email address associated with the account is the one you think it is? If yes, and it is, then wait for a Fox to get in touch and man up a little.

Good call, checked it and it's the correct one, that was my first thought but sadly not! Hence posting it in hope someone gets in touch.

Totally confused by this, one of the stresses of modern life.
I like lots of modern stuff and things, but think life was less stressful when we:

• Queued up for tickets (football, gigs, cinema, theatre).
• Got the results from Grandstand or the Green Un.
• Were happy with being on MOTD for 50 seconds every 3 weeks.
• Bought beer with cash - when it was gone it was gone!
• Had the freedom that not having "devices" brings (yep, I'm on one now).
• Could mend our car/bike with a bit of bent wire and a fag paper.
• Just ate pies, chips, bacon, eggs, meat, mash, stew, Yorkshire puds, and nowt green.
• Just drank Stones, Wards, Tetleys or Trophy.

Not saying it was better, just simpler and less stressful! Mrs Numpty calls all the choice "analysis paralysis"! UTB!!!!
