Leon must be on the open top bus!

Agreed, and I'd like him to be given a special job while on the bus. As he's been away and hasn't got 'Stearmanned' like the rest of them I want him to stick close to Chris and try his best to prevent him dropping the bleeding trophy off the top deck.

Even if we finish second I believe we get some silverware, be nice to take care of it with a bit more conviction than last time. :)

Certainly has to be

Someone else said this in one of the threads, but I think its worth a thread of its own! Not sure if the players and/or club officials read this but given that Leon wasn't at the celebrations over the weekend (as far as I'm aware) I think it would only be right that Leon is there so that the fans can express their support to him, not just for this season but for his time with us as a whole.

His part in the game v Wigan was huge as was his goal v Brentford and its also (sadly) fair to say that Leon might be coming to the end of his time with us, given the promotion, and personally I'd love to show the big man our appreciation of him, just in case he might be thinking that he might not attend, assuming that he is invited, which I would guess he would surely be.

Am I the only one that feels as strongly about how much we owe Leon?!

That's not to dismiss any of the other players who are all legends, but its a given that they'll be there whereas I'm not so sure on Leon.
Wise.

UTB
You do North Yorkshire is a lady poster:eek:

Aye, he should be there and as you say I wasn't surprised he wasn't there on the weekend but I really hope he's there on Tuesday.

I feel for Ched Evans whilst I'm at it, it's sad its just not worked out and I would guess he'll not be there on Tuesday but I wish him all the best.
I hope Stears is wearing a seatbelt, and don't let him anywhere near the town hall balcony:D

100%

played loads of games, scored a few. great performance at Leeds the other day. get him on the bus.

great Instagram post from him today

Bit disrespectful to Wigan , who are likely to sign him .

Not considering the season will be over and at that point he’ll be back to being a Sheff Utd player AND I think they will understand how we feel about him and the part he’s played in our success over the last few years

Leon deserves as much of a chance to celebrate with the fans as the lads who have played since jan

Travesty if he's not on bus.

Does Woodburn get on it?

Why would he, he’s not our player

He also didn’t contribute anything of any significance to our season, unlike Clarke who scored the winner against Brentford and scored what should have been the winner against Stoke.

Scored some important goals for us this season too. The winner at Brentford was a class finish

Leon has played a big part in our rise over the last 3 years. He more than deserves a place on the bus.

It seems that some have easily forgotten and / or completely underestimate the contribution that Leon has made to our recovery in recent seasons , but I'm not one of them .

I have nothing but admiration for the part he has played and , if only for his brace against the Grunters last season and his assist against the Dirties this , he deserves to be part of any Blades celebrations for all time .

I am not normally one for following a bus full of pissed up footballers anywhere, but I will change the habit of a lifetime next week. I would like to register my view that I would like to pay my respects to a player who surprised many of us and I believe contributed greatly to where we are today. In addition he graciously and properly accepted that he wasn't going to be part of the end game. But he was and is part of what we did. I would like to have the opportunity of one last Leon Leon Leon.

LEON LEON LEON

it's buried in my phone somewhere, but just a picture of the blades team and him saying what a great achievement and happy to have played a part. The fact they face-timed him from the bar on Sunday speaks volumes for what the other players think of him.

His media persona is awkward to say the least but it is clear that he's highly regarded by his team mates. Get him on the bus
