Someone else said this in one of the threads, but I think its worth a thread of its own! Not sure if the players and/or club officials read this but given that Leon wasn't at the celebrations over the weekend (as far as I'm aware) I think it would only be right that Leon is there so that the fans can express their support to him, not just for this season but for his time with us as a whole.

His part in the game v Wigan was huge as was his goal v Brentford and its also (sadly) fair to say that Leon might be coming to the end of his time with us, given the promotion, and personally I'd love to show the big man our appreciation of him, just in case he might be thinking that he might not attend, assuming that he is invited, which I would guess he would surely be.

Am I the only one that feels as strongly about how much we owe Leon?!

That's not to dismiss any of the other players who are all legends, but its a given that they'll be there whereas I'm not so sure on Leon.

With his promotion pay rise I doubt we’ll be getting rid of him. More than likely be out on loan again.

We owe him a lot. He's gone from a zero to hero for Sheffield United football club.

I expect he will be. No surprise why he wasn’t at Sunday’s celebrations, as he’s still out on loan. Obviously his season with Wigan ends Sunday, so can’t see any reason why he wouldn’t be on the bus (unless for some reason he doesn’t want to be involved). He played his part earlier in the season, but his biggest impact on our season was probably setting up Wigan’s winner at Elland Road. Deserves to be on the bus for that alone.

Of course he’ll be on the bus......He’s our player and the season will be over.

I am not normally one for following a bus full of pissed up footballers anywhere, but I will change the habit of a lifetime next week. I would like to register my view that I would like to pay my respects to a player who surprised many of us and I believe contributed greatly to where we are today. In addition he graciously and properly accepted that he wasn't going to be part of the end game. But he was and is part of what we did. I would like to have the opportunity of one last Leon Leon Leon.

His participation in the Wigan defeat of Leeds was what broke them....so he’s played what is arguably one of the biggest parts in our success!
I didn’t see Leeds losing to Wigan and that result alone got us over the line with a tricky game left to go.

He has to be on the bus.

Aye, he should be there and as you say I wasn't surprised he wasn't there on the weekend but I really hope he's there on Tuesday.

I feel for Ched Evans whilst I'm at it, it's sad its just not worked out and I would guess he'll not be there on Tuesday but I wish him all the best.
