I'm just in the process of booking a couple and narrowed it down to Dean Saunders ,Chris Kamara ,Dave Watson and Lee Sharpe. I'm heading towards the first 2 at the moment mainly to piss off the pigs with the Blade connections or Sharpe and his Titmuss connections but would like a bit of feedback if anyone has seen them.

I've heard good things about Sharpe as a speaker.

Not seen any of them in that sort of setting myself though.

saw both Kamara and Sharpe last year. Kammy wasn't half as good as I expected yet Lee Sharpe was excellent.

Which Dave Watson are you thinking of? The Millers, Sunderland, Man City and England CB or the Norwich,Everton and England CB or the former Barnsley keeper?

Norwich Everton bloke ,the Sunderland one is the best header of a ball I have ever seen.

Saw Paul Boardman do an after dinner speech, he was very good.

Try Paul Taylor the CCC ref he'll be cheaper than any of the others and his ref's stories are not as cliched as ex-player's.

Only one I've seen is Martin peters the England world cup winner and ex united manager. Would recommend him, great to hear about all the build up to winning the world cup and scoring etc.

Our other option is David Hirst and Tony Agana.
So far we have had Steve Kindon ,Norman Whiteside and Ronnie Whelan. Whelan was OK ,Whiteside poor and Kindon was brilliant.
Jimmy Carroll was also by far and away the best comedian.

I saw TVAM's Nick Owen in the Eric Morcambe Suite at Kenilworth Road in 2006. He was very good, though weirdly spent alot of time making jokes about what a slag Anne Diamond was.

Is she? Did you get her number....:-)

Sadly no. Bit of dirty little secret but as a lad my first 'stirrings' were prompted by Anne Diamond and Carol Decker of T'Pau.

It takes allsorts...

When I was a lad, one of my mate's parents ran the newsagents at the Pond Street bus station. He used to "borrow" the gents' interest mags and distribute round them round his hormone ravaged schoolfriends. So my first stirrings were prompted by Sally, 24 from Canterbury, 34E-26-34.

When I told my other half this story, she thought that the mags were literally borrowed and placed back on the shelves once they had been "perused"....

Is he suggesting I can shag him for £750 and his other half for £700. That's how I interpret it...

Thats how Id read it but, as I say, I wouldnt want it confirmed.

On second thoughts, he could just be offering his after dinner speaking services?

If Mrs BB is anything like her other half, I think I will pass up the £700 for her. Mind you, if BB wants to pay £750 to do the dirty with me, the offer could be tempting....

What, as a double act?
