His last first team game for Charlton was around February time I think, so not quite a year
I'm not saying he was the perfect choice, but you said we'd failed to plan... not that you think we didn't plan properly because you don't rate the player/his fitness.
I only have a loyalty to Sheffield United, not necessarily a loyalty to any person/view at Sheffield United.
I'd have personally kept Bromby, but he wanted (and needed) first team football.
I'd have also kept Maxime Chanot... but since then we've got rid and Barnsley decided he wasn't good enough... so shows what I know
I think Fortune has the right attributes, but as you say, if he's injured/unfit then he'll not be an adequate replacement long term.
Who would you have brought in instead of Fortune/Davies?
