Hammond existed? I don't recall seeing that
Well, you wouldn’t have.
It was the unseen stuff you should take notice of

The worst is the Millwall player complaining that someone went down to easily, only to go down under even less contact seconds later.
I think he was making a point
I'm led to believe from someone who has spoken with three or four of their players and manager that Brentford are bang up for helping us out Monday.
They are no fans of our Yorkshire neighbours, and it all kicked off in their last meeting, resulting in the Leeds DOF and Owner trying to get in the Brentford dressing room after Watkins (who got the penalty) eventually hunting him down in the anti-doping room.
Maupay also wound the fans up in his celebration, so it's all set up for a bit of a grudge match.
Lets hope they can rattle them into dropping points![]()
We don’t need help! Win all 3 games and it’s done! If we rely on other teams, it’s never going to end well for us.
brentford are always good on their own patch and villa are on a roll i wouldn’t fancy Leeds run inA Bladey fallacy I’m afraid. Had we lost at Leicester we would still have been promoted as a result of Middlesbrough beating Newcastle. We relied on Burnley keeping Hull down to a two goal win. We won promotion as a result of Reading’s point at Leeds. There are other examples.
I’ve no idea whether we’ll go up but we won’t need three wins to do so, because DCL are extremely unlikely to win all three. This is a team that has just lost at home to relegation threatened ten man Wigan with a goal start. Had we done that, nobody would be predicting three wins on the bounce to follow.

We have to assume that Leeds will win all three, assuming any different could kill us
There's no excuse at this stage for caution, negative tactics, sitting back or playing not to get beat. The nerves have to be conquered and the best way of doing that is by doing what you normally do and not trying to do something you normally wouldn't
The stats are good;
- Brentford are unbeaten in their past nine home matches against Leeds in all competitions (W6 D3 L0) since a 1-2 defeat in August 1950.
- Leeds have scored just seven goals in their past 11 league matches against Brentford (W2 D5 L4).
- Leeds have lost nine of their past 10 league matches on Easter Monday (W1 D0 L9), losing each of the last six in a row.
Yep, agree totally but it's strange how sequences between certain teams do stand up. I'm also hoping Villa don't win today and keep their winning run going, don't want them to lose that on Satdi.Depends which way you look at it mate. I’m very wary of the law of averages and default to the mean. That’s why I’m delighted Hull have not lost at home for some time. I can’t have it both ways so, for me, those stats are not promising.
That said, the games will be played in real time in the real world, oblivious of the past and the chips will fall where they may. Bring it on.
I can understand why you say that and of course that’s the right approach, but DCL won’t win all three and they certainly won’t claw back the goal difference unless they also beat us on points so that one is a red herring. They’ve just lost to Wigan in the most devastating, numbing circumstances. Let’s not pretend, in the name of Bladey Inferiority Complex, that that wasn’t a major setback. It was. If we had done that, and had their remaining fixtures, would anyone confidently (or at all) suggest we would get maximum points or anywhere near? We know the answer.
It’s time to wind up the pressure on Dirty Corrupt Leeds, not on our own lads.

I thought Leeds would struggle at Preston, and we know how that turned out. We have to expect them to win today, Friday was a big and unexpected shock and i don't expect a repeat.

Well we’ll find out soon enoughI don’t think they can brush it off as easily and in all honesty, I don’t think you would if it were us that suffered that stunning defeat. Dirty Corrupt Leeds are not Supermen.
were you here after the Millwall result? i’m not normally one to side with Pinchy but he has a point
Preston were good value for a point until they had a man sent off.I thought Leeds would struggle at Preston, and we know how that turned out. We have to expect them to win today, Friday was a big and unexpected shock and i don't expect a repeat.
Anyone recall Brentford being less than popular, start of last season, fans giving out about refined cultured football etc.In fairness I’ve always quite liked them. Proper fans
