We’re done - the Villa game killed us - its for the best if you stay in the Champs so a Leeds win is ok by me.
We’d have to win all 5 games and with the injuries we have I can’t see us doing that. Leeds A, Norwich A, Bristol H, Preston A, QPR H is a tough run in.

Villa play Bristol City on Satdi. Get a result at Leeds and there’s still a small chance. Norwich could be almost up by the time they play them and might not be as up for it as they are now.

We probably need five wins but I haven’t given up on us.

Fairly certain the players won't feel that way. Wednesday still have Bristol City to play. And Bristol City and Aston Villa still have to play each other. Both Villa and Bristol City will drop points.

They only put a good run together because of who they played ( they drew with the only 2 decent sides in that run ) Us and FLDC , beating shite teams is easy

If Hull and Boro draw on Saturday and the pigs win they’ll be above Hull and level with Boro. Derby should win. Difficult? Yes. Impossible? No. Close enough to motivate them against Leeds? It should be.

Until it's mathematically impossible I don't give up, I still harbour hopes of us being champions although I appreciate that is enormously unlikely. This is at odds with my usual Blade supporting demeanor which is the more typical if we can screw up we will.

When Huddersfield were promoted through the playoffs in 2017 they had a GD of -1.

Not that it's relevant to Wednesday as they won't be in the play offs. Next season, however, they will carry all before them. Doesn't everyone know that? And when their accounts are published it will show that FFP is no problem, no sirree.
