I dont want to be paired with Villa. Outplayed them for 80% of the two matches we have played against them, but would probably beat us this time over two legs.
 
Villa are the team to avoid. They look like finishing 5th so I would rather finish third and play who finishes 6th

Still would probably have to beat Villa at some point though.

Agree thats 3 wins in four for them and the game at the end of last season he started the first half with some youngsters and changed it at half time when they were 0-3 down getting them back to 2-3. We need to avoid Bristol if we unfortunately make the play offs but I felt both Norwood and Fleck missed Duffy at number 10 to-day.

Improving Villa and West Brom are the dangers

Mind you what am I saying, put the pressure on us and not losing will become more important so it doesn't matter who we are paired with, I'm not sure what we'll get for a draw in a play off game but that's what we'll attempt to get.
 
Christ, wouldn’t want to be in the trenches with any of you lot. One defeat and you’ve not only given up on automatic but don’t fancy us in the play-offs either. More back bone in the steak I had last night, and that was Sirloin..

Our bubble burst today, we couldn't afford to get less than a draw. We threw away a winning position twice and then all the points. We've now we've been thrust back down with the sharks. Villa over two legs will be embarrassing.

Why shouldn’t we? What evidence of the last three seasons leads you to think we won’t at least have a go in the play offs?

In fact don’t bother answering, I’ll answer that one for you.. there isn’t any.
 
Over two legs, I’d fancy us against whoever manages to finish 6th. We’re a better side than whoever sneaks in there and that should show over the two games.

Villa, or West Brom in a final though and I would worry. Both are improving and have big game winners. Fear our players would be on a downer from missing out.

Although the result today wasn’t good!!.
It’s not the end of our season FFS!!!. If we do end up in the playoffs?. So what??.
Too many fans were describing today as the end of our season!!.
There’s gonna be a few more twists and turns in the next few weeks!!.
The lads just need to get today out of their systems and produce a result at Preston which I think we will?.
Let’s get behind the lads and see where it takes us?. Already renewed my season ticket for next season. UTB

Bristol City, before today has won 2 points out of 15. Last time out they only managed a one all draw vs. Ipswich. We were thoroughly outplayed on the field and out thought off it today (it also seems like we took a slap off it as well).

We were winning, totally against the run of play, and our tactical masterstroke to bring on Marvin 'fucking' Johnson. Cue 2 quick goals and some comedy football from the great man.

By the end we looked physically and mentally tired, the teams in the play off places appear to be the exact opposite. Villa would do a job on us over two legs or in the final, WBA would do the same, Bristol City would do the same, and it's a toss up whether could better Boro or Derby. An i'm absolutely petrified of Wednesday getting into the place offs, because they'd beat us as well.

Villa have put 5 goals past us in 12 minutes at Villa Park. The Villa team that we beat at BDTBL at the start of the season isn't the same team that we'd now face. If we'd played 2 or 3 minutes more against them last match, they'd have scored a 4th. They are now 5 straight wins on the bounce, 13 goals scored. Tammy Abraham is a class above Bristol City's no. 9, and he's schooled our defence today.
