I blame the interviewer more, he asked a leading question saying ‘If you thought you deserved to win, why didn’t you make the break through’. Bielsa didn’t say he thought they deserved to win and is usually very complimentary of opposition so I imagine he was pissed off at the interviewer putting words in to his mouth.
 



He said ‘Anyone watching that game would have expected the result to go the other way’ or words to that affect. Which, to me, is saying they should have won, the interviewer obviously interpreted it the same. He then got a lip on and started refusing to answer.

It’s difficult to tell what Bielsa means even when you can see it in print. I certainly got the impression he was saying that they had deserved a better result.

Either way, what’s the point of throwing it back at the interviewer and trying to “interview” him?

Politicians avoid answering the question but even they don’t start asking Paxman what he thinks.

That’s a good question.
 
Bielsa made an ass of himself poor loser. He cheats just like his horrible team cheats, divers, whiners.
 
Basically Bielsa said (but may have been a misinterpretation) that after analysing the game one would say “Leeds deserved to win”. So the Sky interviewer picked up on this and said “you said you deserved to win....so what went wrong”.

Bielsa looked stunned and said “I never actually said we deserved to win but do you think we deserved to win”?

The Sky interviewer repeated his question

Bielsa replied “but you haven’t answered my question....do YOU think we deserved to win? I’m interested in your opinion”
The Sky interviewer seemed embarrassed and said “I’m interviewing you, no one is interested in my opinion”

Think Bielsa continued “but I’m interested in whether you think we deserved to win”

The Sky interviewer politely ended the interview saying he’s run out of time.
Neither Bielsa nor the Sky interviewer were angry, just seemed more of a language/ culture mix up.

Think Bielsa meant a neutral would say Leeds deserved to win, he wasn’t actually giving his personal opinion
But the Sky interviewer was trying to press him for his personal opinion. He refused to give it and was trying to be a bit clever
by asking the interviewer who he thought should have won. The interview ended prematurely.
 
I thought bieksa was right enough to take exception to the interviewer, I never heard him say they should have won

I didnt see the interview but can translate Bielsa speak.

1) He wasnt happy with the performance or the result but didnt want to underestimate from your point of view how well you did.

2) He doesnt think we deserved to draw, i suspect he either is criticising our mistakes or finishing or both but not sure.

3) Happy with the first 30mins

4) You were better or we were worse last 10 of first half and you played better 2nd half compared to 1st but he felt overall we were the better side.

5) Our chances were of our own making not your errors which will please him.

6) He is frustrated we had more chances to score but didnt take them and you were clinical and took yours, this has happened plenty of times to us and Bielsa has mentioned it before.

He may come across as aloof but he is usually very honest, think he was here tbf to him.
 
best bit was when the interviewer tried to end the interview he demanded an answer to his question. hilarious

He did mention they should have won but it was more of a 3rd person opinion (like he does sometimes),
not his actual personal opinion.

Neither translator nor Bielsa knew what to say Bielsa never looked up from the floor.He didn't like it when the reporter asked him what he thought he answered back well what did you think.Reporter said that is the question I am asking you.
 
To be fair, I quite like him for it. It was cringey, but he knew it was, and was OK with that.
 
If you've got the sky sports app it's on the game videos today along with the highlights and Wilder's interview. I've not watched it yet as my vpn keeps playing up.
 
Having just watched it, it’s definitely not as bad as it has been made out to be. He’s irritated by the nature and delivery of the question but I think most would have been. That being said, he’s clearly rattled by the result.
 
Loved the shot of their fans after the game as stunned and down and out as Bielsa in his interview ,their players on the pitch arguing.
Revenge for Hendo's gift goal to give them a stolen 3 pts at the Lane,chanting pedo at him all game long.They are just scum
 
The Leeds players were a disgrace at the end, beisla was hilarious..

How do we know what the translator was saying? For all we know the question asked was translated as..... The reporter thinks you're a nob and your tactics sucked, what yer got to say to that and no you can't have the Falkland Islands back.
 
First thing wilder said was that Leeds didn't deserve result and was complimentary to Leeds and balanced about our chances from here.. Huge contrast and so many teams must be envious of our English speaking, plain talking super tactician. Well done Chris Wilder ....one more reason to be so proud about today
