You can accept errors as part and parcel of the game and you're unfortunate if it costs points as it did v Leets. The whole disbelief around last night was the fact we did it 3 times, in the space of 12 minutes, from a seemingly unassailable position. We fucked it up, it wasn't through lack of effort. Some of this criticism is ridiculous.

The problem we now have is that the previous 81 minutes are in danger of being forgotten about. It will be interesting to see whether the Villa fans are appluading their team or saying, as they should be in my opinion, that they deserved nothing and it's papering over the cracks. Having said that, they've done it several times this season albeit not from that far back.
and it wasn't 'fantastic play' by them, basically 3 set pieces we failed to deal with. Plus our inability to get the ball out of our own half for longer than 10 seconds. There was one opportunity late on when Fleck (I think) and AN Other (maybe George) contrived to not manage to keep the ball near the corner flag for more than 5 secs. This ^^^^^^
We looked in no danger for 80 minutes, with Hendo having virtually nothing to do.
We can't really complain about that, considering Billy's 2nd shouldn't have stood for offside at first and then the keeper did have it in 2 hands under control. Plus they should have had a pen, we can't grumble that the officials were bad for us.It doesn't happen if the clear offside is given.
That's another annoying thing, key decisions went for us last night and we still failed to take advantage. We can't really complain about that, considering Billy's 2nd shouldn't have stood for offside at first and then the keeper did have it in 2 hands under control. You mean the dozen Villa fans who were still in the ground...?It will be interesting to see whether the Villa fans are appluading their team or saying, as they should be in my opinion, that they deserved nothing and it's papering over the cracks.
And that no one was watching Abraham, by a long way their most likely goalscorer, is criminal.
