In theory yes.

Though I hate to be a bit of a party pooper, but is there any person on here who believes that there’s really any club that would pay their last fees again?
I remember lol at Madines fee when Warnock signed him and now he's at the Lane , you really couldn't make it up !

Add both their wages together and come back with a figure. £50k pw?
Don't worry if we don't go up they will be back at their parent club quicker than you can say "Gary Madine your havin a laugh "

2 years ago today Zach Clough signed for Forest for 3 mill. He's just gone on loan to Rochdale. Transfer madness.

Its not a theory though, its the state of this division. They were sold for those figures, regardless of whether they were worth it.

Before we came up from League one, it was normal for the richer clubs in the championship to throw money around like confetti whenever they wanted a player, particularly strikers. And it continued up to the Summer really - Rhodes (£9 m from Blackburn to Boro then £10 m to the pigs) ends up on loan at Norwich, Assombalonga £15m to Boro 2 years ago, but now unable to move for the fee they want, Madine £6 M out on a loan, Hogan out on loan and then Waghorn £8 m and hardly plays.

Clubs are coming unstuck with FFP. They're unable to move for fear of it, They can't demand the same fees for these players that they paid, because for all intents and purposes, the money has dried up.

Derby, Pigs, Birmingham, Bolton, Boro, even 'big club' Villa aren't chucking the money out on transfer fees that they were 1-2 years ago (although derby spunked a ridiculous £8m on Waghorn).

So they're sending out players on loan. Those players were still purchased for those values, its not a theoretical value, but we're in different times.

I think its fair to say that we've cashed in on this
