According to the infamous ‘Sky sources ‘ it seems that the Blades have a 20% sell on clause should Birmingham sell. Based on the £12m that is being touted around as we sold him for £2m that would generate a £10m profit with our share then being £2m.
If this happens the sale of the Jug eared one would be another great piece of transfer business by Wilder as the add ins would have paid for Oli Norwood !
Great to see Hogan confirmed and am really looking forward to Saturday and seeing perhaps both him and Madine in action at some stage in the game

As always, the value of any player at the time of sale is subjective, but also irrelevant to all but those within the club.

Selling a player for what seems a moderate value at that time, but inserting clauses into the sale, which are a calculated gamble on the future value (or success) of that player allows us to manoeuvre sensibly.

Selling Ramsdale, DCL, Che Adams and Brooks have all allowed us to do this during Wilders reign.

Think our legal team need to be careful when looking at the details of this and any sell on clause.

Apparently it is illegal profit from the sale of "cunt" and may be classed as immoral earnings.

Hopefully selling a jug eared one may muddy the waters a bit.

However, what is an absolute indication of "good business" is selling x players, replacing them with y players and ending up in a division above in that season.
Moving Adams on (and taking your pick of Duffy, JOC, Jake Wright etc.) was a springboard to us moving in the right direction. If we can now scoop some more froth from the pool way after the event (not in a Michael Barrymore sort of way) would be a nice bit of icing on top.
