Lundstram having to try to cover both right and left sides of defence in the first half was ridiculous, Cranie kept wandering off to the edge of the opposition box as though he was Basham, except he never actually looked like touching the ball, so JL had to drop back instead of being in midfield. On the other side, Johnson kept tucking in, doing the old Bryan Howard trick of hiding from potential passes from his teammates. With nobody in front of him, Bryan buggered off up the other end and was pushed right up on the left wing on a couple of occasions (even though the ball was on the opposite side of the pitch), so JL ended up at left back. How we only conceded one in that first half is a miracle, we were playing with a back 2 of Lundstram and Stearman for lots of it.
Second half the centre backs more or less stayed at centre back, so Lundstram could actually play in midfield where he was his usual, alright, but not particularly good. Sadly he was far from the worst player on the pitch today.
