This is confirmation, though.Just what we needed, another thread...
Unveiled on the quiet tomorrow when there's only going to be 6500 or so?
What do you think Wilder's press conference will be like? Sympathetic?
"I know what's gone off in the past with our fans and that's not on but people have to be given a chance to change and I believe, you know, in this environment with this group of lads that can happen and he can be a success."
Or 'I'm the fucking manager here"?
"Look what's passed has passed, it's my job to get people in that can do a job for us and I think I've done it and if it doesn't go down well, frankly that's not what I'm here for, it's not a popularity contest it's the championship and he can do well for us"

And it's only officially official when the club announce it and Foxy makes it green.
Not that it's not, but this thread isn't really necessary.
"Financially its fully paid up"
Sounds like its going to be a permanent to me.........
I was told that Wilder would like to sign him but knows how badly it would go down with the fans so probably won’t.
Maybe, but they wouldn’t let him near the petty cash let alone the transfer dealings.
Who is this Gary Madine?
As long as the paperwork went through the FA by 12 o'clock Saturday afternoon he should be eligible to playMight he actually be involved in the game on Sunday rather than just announced to the crowd? It was after all probably all sorted on Friday...
This is confirmation, though.
And you know this HowImagine the dressing room when him and Billy square up. If it's true, this is Wilders 1st big Fuck up. This is a Proper Football club and no place for that scumbag. Team Spirit going straight out of the window. Bad move
That's how most blades will view it sheffsteel ,Wilder wouldn't do anything to undermine that team Spirit.Remember the battles we had with Bolton in the last 2 seasons.
I remember in a post match interview Wilder saying how he has respect for Parkinson and how it’s a big game for him as he knows the Bolton management team really well, in fact he said “Parkinsom’s assistant is his BEST MATE in football”.
So no doubt he will be trusting the character references given to him by his close contacts at Bolton Wanderers.
Also regards the bad blood amongst players you generally find it’s made up/ exagerrated in the media.
Players are professional and there’s rarely personal vendetta’s that effect performance unless you’re regularly losing. Ched was extremely popular amongst the players at the Academy. Team spirit and camaraderie is something that massively important to Wilder, he won’t do anything to jeopardise it.
somesensetivesnow flakes onhereLet this be your mantra... In Wilder and Knill we trust. Accept and get on with it.
