Maybe he should do a Dele Alli and in a bid to distance himself from a name that causes pain (though in Dele's case it's familial and Gary's case it's pain to others, particularly in the facial region) and drop the Madine. Just Gary. Like Madonna, I've seen a picture where he's also got a similarly intriguing chest as she did in her Blond Ambition days so the similarities wouldn't just be the mononymousness.

Remember the battles we had with Bolton in the last 2 seasons.
I remember in a post match interview Wilder saying how he has respect for Parkinson and how it’s a big game for him as he knows the Bolton management team really well, in fact he said “Parkinsom’s assistant is his BEST MATE in football”.

So no doubt he will be trusting the character references given to him by his close contacts at Bolton Wanderers.

Also regards the bad blood amongst players you generally find it’s made up/ exagerrated in the media.
Players are professional and there’s rarely personal vendetta’s that effect performance unless you’re regularly losing. Ched was extremely popular amongst the players at the Academy. Team spirit and camaraderie is something that massively important to Wilder, he won’t do anything to jeopardise it.

That's how most blades will view it sheffsteel ,Wilder wouldn't do anything to undermine that team Spirit.

Mad, but listening to that I’m weirdly starting to come round to the idea

Doesn’t seem like Warnock has anything against his character/attitude as a player, and all things suggest that Madine is very keen on the move

I still don’t like the bloke, still think he’s a thug, but if he can come in and score goals, I can support the player
