How can you sit there on your computer and not see why you shouldn’t boo a player in a United shirt? Are you dense?

Excitable little thing aren’t you! As a paying customer I’ll boo who I want for my own reasons. With the number of times you have been proved wrong on this forum you should understand by now that you’re not always right. Wind your neck in, if you have one.

It's OK, I think I found him.
Saw someone looking very much like him going into here earlier.
Obviously I didn't look too long......didn't want to risk it!

If you have any intention of going to the lane and booing you’re a thick cunt of the highest order.

This team deserve supporting 100% every fucking game. Down to a man they’re performing miracles.

98% of Blades I’d say. We do have our selection of special people, I must admit.

Is this the same 98% that hate the home kit even though I see fucking loads of them?

You can't just pull 98% of Blades agree out of your arse to support your opinion whether I agree with you or not.

Come back when you’ve learned to conduct a debate without flinging puerile insults around. You aren’t worth my time.

I haven’t run mental tests on 98% of our fanbase so obviously the figure wasn’t meant to be taken literally.

But that said, the home kit is minging. I’ll be buying one in the summer if we get promoted in it mind.

He’s not very clever at debating is he? Rapidly descends into personal insults, always has, not to be taken seriously.

Whilst attempting to keep my duvet bone dry, it would concern me to bring my young lad to a match if he had awareness a player being previously sentenced for a violent offence, let alone offences. Everyone deserves forgiveness and he has served his time, but there has to be some recognition of public figure status. As a family of public servants, none of us can have a criminal record, to acknowledge the fact that service for the public good can’t be tainted by a criminal conviction, served or otherwise. I’ve always wondered (well, more like a fleeting shower thought), why the FA don’t mandate CRB checks for players, especially given the owners fit and proper test.

Of course, a footballer isn’t a nurse or firefighter, so obviously it isn’t a perfect comparison, but it does quash somewhat any indication that it shouldn’t impact their chosen profession once released. I’d be told to politely to sling my hook.

Thoughts?

Oh sorry - PS In Wilder We Trust etc.

Bad taste jokes are also not immoral, they are jokes meant to cause laughter. Nowt threatening his moral standards there.

Your post is a perfect example of the sanctimoniousness displayed by certain posters throughout this thread. Someone getting their skull caved in is a bad taste joke and is OK to laugh about but if he's a Blade getting chinned or Billy getting called fat then it's a different matter. This thread is getting a bit siily.

The world will seem silly when you make every effort to twist it.

Someone getting their skull caved in isn't a joke, making a joke about someone getting their skull caved in is a bad taste joke.

Jokes about Billy getting called fat and Blades getting chinned would be fine, not that this is relevant to this issue except in your head.

I am quite literally dumbfounded that people don’t think booing our players is anything other than completely detrimental.

It is detrimental which is why it would be complete idiocy to take that risk.

Have you got the balls to stand on the Kop and have a rant at the family and friends of the lad he hammered just for being a blade after they boo him? I doubt that very much. I think in that scenario you'd be a shrinking violet.

Your comments on here do remind me a bit of one of those french birds that shagged the Nazi soldiers just because they thought it was best for themselves whilst either not caring or not realising that they were stabbing their own in the back.

Comparing nazi’s and the Sheffield United management team might be a stretch even by our fans standards.

Just to lighten the mood a little, my wife just told me a story about a pig fan she went to school with, when Madine played for Wednesday he named his first born son 'Madine'.

Imagine how much of a dick he feels right now!

Do pig fans feel shame though?

I mean I thought it was mandatory to not have that emotion or have it removed when you become a pig

Very laudable. Presumably you have the same quams about footballing role models that cheat on their wives, girlfriends and fiancés? Oh, and those that take drugs, gamble and drink to excess?

Or is it just the same things that public servants have to abide by?

Just wondering how the moral compass works. Given that even coppers can get/keep a job with criminal convictions.

I'll find plenty on Blades Mad if it's still going.

That’s really a “no” then.

Posters get accused of that all the time when the reality is that they use facts to back up their argument. You’ll also find that the same posters can be quite critical of the club but because they don’t make stupid claims bout finance etc it’s ignored.

No one replies to a pathetic “weers munny gone” post with the riposte “Kevs got it all safe, everything is rosy”.

A fallacy necessitated by the need to defend laughably weak arguments that have been shot down in flames.

I’m not sure my post warranted that level of contempt if I’m honest. I was merely stating a comparison that already exists with regards to public servants. The line that can’t be crossed is a solid one, a criminal conviction. Shades of moral ambiguity is an equivocal fallacy. Take footballer and replace it with school teacher and you can see the issue.

I think Mary Poppins is still on at the pictures, you wouldn't have to boo or compare your fellow blades to French prostitutes under nazi occupation then, or even explain it to him. Good grief, it's a fucking football team for pitys sake not sure start.
