Like quite a few previous rumours this may well be bollix. However, if not I'm sure the decision to sign the ray of sunshine that is Madine will be made with the intention of providing us with something we don't have at the moment, He's 28 years old, 6'4" and a handfull to play against.

When Roy Keane was Sunderlands manager three first team players ' entertained ' a young lady in their hotel room and released the movie on social media.
Niall Quinn was Sunderland chairman at the time and went berserk. He wanted them suspended indefinitely. Roy Keene pointed out that he wasn't their father or moral guidance counsellor he was their manager and need them in the team. They got fined and suspended for one game.

Don't like Madine, hope it doesn't happen but we could do with someone like him up front and if Wilder and Knill decide it's him then okay. " In Wilder we Trust ". ;)

The last time he played at Bramall Lane he was a big handful, Bert was quite impressed with his performance.

Sorry, didn’t see this before I posted a very similar comment. He was very good that day.

Tbh they could have just been playing scrabble, or monopoly, hardly a reason to ban/fine.

Looks like he’s getting the cunt that he wanted .
He’ll always be a cunt I suppose he’ll be our cunt for a while
But once a cunt always a cunt .

You never know, if he becomes the second player to score for both sides in a Sheffield Derby in March then I’ll be more than delighted.

Now that would be something, Nadine and Niuhu facing eachother.

I don't understand this at all for all the reasons stated above and just to emphasis once again; the bloke is a complete shit house of a individual.

If this is the sort of thing were looking for why not just bring Ched back in from Fleetwood and spend the money we will be doing on Madine on other areas of the pitch?

I was impressed too.

However he had this tactic of standing on the edge of the penalty area, sticking out his elbows, sticking out his arse making himself look big....then he’d wait for the challenge...then fall down. He was winning so many freekicks for Bolton and was a real handful.

I tell you what, Madine must be either as thick as pig shit or have balls of steel to want to sign for us.....remember he was purposely kept away from BDTBL season before last!

He may also see this as a chance to jump start his career which is stagnating at the moment.

He’s a plan B striker, couldn’t see him being in the first XI and find it hard to believe he would want to come here to sit on the bench.

Wilder signed James Hanson as back up for certain games to get us over the line and that’s all Madine would be.

A lot of us were moaning last year that we never had a plan which cost us in the run in, he would give us that at least.

It’s a strange one....it’s brings back memories of the Terry Curran signing.
He’s public enemy number 1 but still wants to play for us.....it’s goimg to be interesting.

It’s either a moment of madness or a touch of outrageous brilliance from Wilder.
Suppose Madine will be hungry with so much to prove. No choice but to trust Wilder.

Well done - you appear to have a pragmatic view on this as a few of us do.

Doubt the vast majority are happy with this (edit: including me) but we need to see the bigger picture on offer.
