What was the scrap about?

Two of em pushed Henderson to try and get the ball back quickly. He fell awkwardly into the netting, which resulted in handbags.

There were people around me claiming it was never a free kick, when we probably had the best view in the house to see that fleck had handballed it.

I thought it came off the strikers hand but they never showed a replay

ESPN showed a reply here. Didn't look like JOC touched it.
I didn't think so in real time either. in fact thought the ref had blown for a foul on him

I’ve seen a replay and he does handball it, I thought it was on the Sky highlights but I’ve watched those back and they don’t seem to show it. If I find the link I’ll put it on here

for the record - I thought the Derby player handled it - my boy reckons it was JOC who handled it - for sure someone did - clear as day from SS for people with good eyes - just hope the ref got it right as it was an exceptional freekick from Wilson.

UTB

I've never understood why we get involved when the opponents are trying to grab the ball to sprint back to the halfway line. Let 'em fucking have it!
Then take your time kicking off

Kicked up a fuss and got that ugly tw@t Keogh booked. Nothing wrong with that. In fact he remained rattled for the rest of the game.

But sometimes it goes the other way - Blackman for example. A lot of the time it involves the keeper getting carded

Keeper did nothing wrong. Keo and tomori rushed in and pushed him over as he bent over to pick the ball up then everyone else piled in for a push and shove

I didn't see it properly to be honest. I was too busy uttering "Bastard" repeatedly cos FLDCFC had just equalised. It doesn't show on the highlights either.
I just assumed that Deano had held the ball because thars what usually causes that kind of fracas, so apologies for assuming wrongly but I still don't understand why its done when it is

Trying to get the ball and then handbags

Best thing that happened to us was the triple whammy of the penalty not being given, their equaliser and the fight after the goal. They peaked at that point and United stormed back, with a much more energised crowd behind them. Did they even manage a shot after McGoldrick scored?

Said exactly the same coming out what should have been a lift for them ended up completely working against them. The crowd got up the players looked pissed off and from that point on we dominated

You know how on Troy they "unleash the big guy"? I like how Egan is the man that we send in. I was worried he was going to get sent off but it was nice to see him wade in there and stick up for his team mates.

Agree with those that think it was a significant moment. After that melee our players played like they'd rather die than lose.

They were fighting over who got the best presents the previous day. Billy Sharp won, as with most things in life!
